I have just read an article in the South London Press (Fri. 28th edition) and was totally appalled. Southwalk Primary Care Trust are to make a decision as to whether or not the Dulwich Medical Centre in Crystal Palace Road will open a pharmacy on its premises, which may include a needle exhange service. The pharmacy will open until 11pm. With the medical centre being next to the nursery and community centre, I think it would be totally obvious that a needle exchange service would not be an acceptable proposition. Any comments on this?
