  1. On a related note, if they abandoned 100k jobs, they probably won't need your money :) Good luck with the article though, make sure to post it here once it goes live.
  2. I'd recommend plastic toy soldiers and other army machinery - small planes, tanks, choppers, etc. Loved those as a kid :)
  3. Some local vendors/shoemakers can also make custom footwear. Most are unlikely to be found around the web so asking around the neighbourhood you are located in might be a shortcut to success there.
  4. My guess it depends on the definition of "advertisements". If I recommend my favourite baby food shop to someone asking for ideas and suggestions on the topic, would that be considered a violation? Should not be the case. Whereas XYZ corporation coming in to say how great their services are, I think we are all much sick and tired of that and heavyweight moderation is certainly due.
  5. Hi Stephanie, I'd say it depends how much you are willing to wait to have it all sorted out. While I'd generally recommend the council as a cost efficient alternative, obviously it doesn't apply in your case, sadly. You can look up these folks, reasonable charges if you have more stuff to be taken away though even for a small load, I reckon it should be fine. http://www.tomsjunkcollectors.co.uk/junk-removal-forest-hill-se23.html http://www.rubbishplease.co.uk/ They did work for me just fine but do let us know what kind of experience you had with them and whether the prices were reasonable.
