Oh I hope we've got one. They are always full of lulz. :)

I think the self service tills fantastic. Even if there are checkouts free I use them, tbh.

Oh err, posting fail. I should really 'think' before pressing Post.

I've been busted it seems, although the reason is below. I've started running home from work and to ensure I'm not carrying more than a light bag I leave my shoes at work. This leaves me shoeless of a morning so on the trainers go until I arrive at work. In case you were wondering, no I don't change my socks :D

Good call on the licking front, plus my current Milan Kundera novel bares a fitting title concerning the obvious intention of such an act. In any case, it will surely pay to have a character to empathise with should the police be called. Can you go down for licking a strangers face? Surely it's a caution jobby. Maybe this requires a rethink, and a logical abandonment for the sake of all concerned...

What's the lamest chat-up line you're received lately?

Since moving here it has rather amused me to note how some people's morning routines run. I specifically notice the same crowds that get certain trains in the mornings, despite the fact I fail to spot the same people on the way home. It's something that people miss when getting the tube. I don't think I ever saw the same person more than a few times; they pick up and drop off so frequently thus ensuring the lives of millions of strangers interweave invisibly and seamlessly. Now the same people arrive those few minutes early while the same few queue for a ticket as I walk up the path. I've seen the same girl run past me more than a few times on my way to the station, either lacking the confidence I have in my own watch set forward 3 minutes or her ability to make it in an allotted time. The same rules of engagement still seem to apply though and no one speaks to each other nor acknowledges the familiarity. What exactly is national rail etiquette when standing next to the same person 5 days in a row? I'm afraid a smile might put me in the 'weirdo train guy' category, although I'm tempted to try it anyway one day. :)

My housemate has been to a few of these drinks and tells me there are some nice people to be met. I'll try and make the next ones...

I've always found it to be really friendly in there. It's by far my favourite local pub - reminds me of a few I used to go to in St.Albans...

Sure, but only downers it would seem.

That actually made me lol. I'm with him on the dogs thing though, but purely because I can't stand them.

Did anybody else see these last night? I was just walking past the end of the street when three shot up there and stopped about 6:30. I didn't see anything, but it must have been quite big to send 3 trucks...
