  1. Mine used to similarly always puke when I put him in the bumbo. Def need some time for milk to 'settle' I think!!!
  2. Come spring if I can get someone to look after mad 2 yr old I will be there. Actually maybe we could take turns - am happy to hire out baby too....
  3. Hope is not in the revised Christmas format - presented in manner of crimewatch meets children in need - was so disappointing!!
  4. Cool will really try to make it but last time at the Plough little sb kept alternately sprinting behind the bar and helping himself to glasses and trying to leave via main door. Stressful!! Roll on summer and parks! Sleeping till 3ish atm so just after then hopefully..
  5. Resurrecting this ladies (+gents!) - after some advice on a practical level. Baby snowboarder 2.0 due early March. 1. - Am hoping to move little sb 1.0 into the spare room - his new big boy room - but I cant see us getting this done until early feb (logistics, decorating etc) - is that going to be too late? I'm almost shying away from doing it at all as he is sleeping SO well in his little room - this morning not a sound until 7.45!! 2. - He's only 21m and although he cuddles my tummy I'm sure he doesn't really get it - and I just feel SO bad for him!! He's obv used to being the only one and getting all my attention - he even resists daddy taking him out/doing bedtime and naps. Trying to deal with this now but will he accept new baby?? 3. - HOW to deal with feeding new baby and controlling toddler? Cbeebies whilst at home I suppose but when out? Toddler is not a sit and play quietly kind - he's a run for the hills giggling kind. Will we be under house arrest? God. Scary!!!
  6. Hi ladies hoping to make next week but am suddenly exhausted by Friday evenings, and will need to sort out husband/babysitter. Must try harder!!
  7. I think I might NEED one for 'new baby occasional car use' as maxi cosi seat can clip on...seat unit ok from 3/4m so no need for bassinet. Hmm. What can I sell to justify to husband.....
  8. Anyone got one? Views? Not seen any on the streets of ED....
  9. We have some boring afternoons post nap too - I have a 21m old and newbie on the way...eta late feb early march. I'm finding it increasingly hard to drag toddler away from cbeebies these days...!
  10. Always used to find the bishop good - banquette type seats at the back quite comfy and nice and dark so felt quite hidden and relaxed. And lots of high chairs for toddlers. And mums discount card. Winner!
  11. The lessons at Dulwich def start this week - and they are run by same people I think?
  12. He he bizarre one piece clothing - love it. I'm in full on new baby accessories mode. Got the moses basket down from the loft recently and it looks like its been flattened - cue NEED for new bedside crib type thing. And maybe a new sling, for newbie when chasing errant toddler around park and shops, and obv a whole host of weird and wonderful b/f pillows, vests and bras. My christmas present was a storksac change bag. I am officially SAD. Now. How to persuade husband re the stokke chair. It's v expensive and I've spent my HIP grant 4 times over already...I do think it looks FAB though.
  13. Hmm I'm having second thoughts over this now...after conversation with midwife yesterday. I kind of think I had some sort of flu just before christmas...and just thinking now I am a normally well person (no chest complaints etc) so should really be fine. Are there any studies on the effect it can have on the baby? Not trying to inflame/worry etc...now just not too sure what to do!!
  14. Here! A ridiculous extravagance or must have for new baby snowboarder??? What other baby consumerism have-to-haves are on the 2011 list? ps - in case of doubt...this thread is mostly just for fun....:)
  15. Alieh are you importing it? I kind of love it but couldn't decide between the 2 diff toddler seats. When does it arrive?
  16. We've gone for a phil and teds - 2 reASONS - a) Couldn't get a side by side in the house (small narrow hall) and b) Not sure how long the older one will buggy ride for so at least can use as a sensible single buggy in the future. Apparently Mountain Buggy are bringing out a really slimline side by side (63cm?) in the Spring 2011 (too late to wait and see it for us) and a tandem version. Bugaboo are bringing out a new side by side too - but looks v odd. There's a p&t vibe on sale in the classifieda atm I think though - they often come up.
  17. Up and running again mostly, but still snotty and coughy. Not nice! Now if I could just get a good nights sleep. I actually don't think I am ever going to sleep 'through the night' again!!
  18. I really want it but you cannot have it if you already have a cold. This is not good - am not sure the toddler cold germs I seem to be continuously exposed (and succumb) to will ever relent!
  19. Well done will have to go soon. Too exhausting a prospect today but next time!!
  20. Tumbletots off this week and next I think - so same for gymbabes?
  21. Babychinos are FREE, actually. Huffs.
  22. I think, also, BB that there is prossibly a hint of irony and touch of dramatic embellishment occasionally on some of these posts...warning do not take this forum TOO seriously. I'm not even touching this thread...for too many reasons!!
  23. Anyone fancy this tomo? We are hopefully on the mend and need to prise toddler away from the tv. I fear a lifelong addiction has started....
  24. I know it is obv a hideous toy...but...I know also little snowboarder would love it! Doors to open and all those little packages in the kitchen. The whole McD bit would be completely irrelevant - he wont eat chips or burgers anyway (weird), so there we are. Not that we'll be getting it, mind. Lovely wooden workbench hiding upstairs...
