  1. I have to strongly agree with the transport and Time to travel.. yesterday took me 30 minutes from Overhill Road to Peckham rye train station.. Have noticed a big build up of traffic on tjeclocal roads too.
  2. Seen them a couple of times, they are good and sane standard and knowledge as if you had appointment at Kings as they are on 6 month rotation..very long wait for Physio at the moment i waited 7 Months

  4. Anyone do a regular drive to Bromley.. I live off lordship lane and passed left at forest hill station and via Catford very slow..i have interview at Bromley civic next week
  5. I know there are different views on drinking tap v bottled water..personally I cannot taste any difference and think it's safe to drink tap water unless any health reports say otherwise..i think people stick to bottled water as it became do popular
  6. Any issues with drinking water straight from the Tap in this hard water area, my friends visited recently and I poured them glasses of water from the Tap, the mum mentioned about a filter and risks of damage to kidneys from drinking hard water but I have not read any risks??

  10. Thanks..would need to be something to occupy them at my home or close by as they will have a long journey to reach me for lunch..i am trying to think of fun things that doesn't take us too far away from home..horimon is good. Although the youngest went there recently on a school trip.
  11. Hello..my good friends are visiting me on Saturday with their 8 yrs and 12yrs son's via public transport from west London.. I don't have Sky tv...boys games or computer for them to use..looking for ideas to do before or after I feed them lunch.
  12. Ladlands/Dawson height flats are cold by nature so I am going with extra clothing until change of clocks but will deffo .put on and test the boiler for 30 mins in the evening a couple of times

  14. Trying hard to delay the Winter..and seeing if I can last until the clocks go back..last week brought a hot water bottle..this helps and a small portable heater to warm one room for a quick burst..

Hello Would anyone know how or where i can make a cash donation to a service or centre that is directly helping the victims/community that is actually based in Grenfell, i would rather donate to one of these smaller charities then red cross, grenfell fundgiving as these have been well subscribed to and am worried the cash wont get through to where is needed.

Hiya ..i am doing a afternoon tea at home soon.proceeds going to grenfell.my baking skills are variable ,think I will be ok with the scones and lemon drizzle loaf..although my last one came out flat but tasty ,think I will change from 85g to 125g ingredients,I have a 9inch cake tins, was thinking to do a chocolate cake or something with strawberries.. I want to put a nice spread on for my friends within my baking skills and a budget.. Any advice...? Think I need to adapt a recipe for 9inch tins.
  24. I am having some afternoon teas at home with friends in a couple of weeks and donations going to grenfell..I am not sure which charity/organisation to donate to..was thinking one of the local groups or counselling groups that are directly working and based in..near the area..
