I have thoroughly enjoyed Wimbledon this year loads of thrilling matches men and women games..The Nadal.muller game was tense..i love Nadal sad to see him go..I have a new found respect for Murray.. although he is painful to watch in interviews he didn't make the loss about his injury in the interview and was very quietly Scottish humble..gosh just wish he would smile now and again.whats being your match of the tournament so far?
They usually arrive around 8ish and stay on the grass right by the residential flats till late, yes sometimes after 12,, annoying,, was about bearable when it was fri/sat night but now everynight
Wonder if anyone lives near Dawson's Hill is disrupted by the young people who sit on the hill by the bench and have parties what seems to be every night..goes on beyond 11pm..Not sure if it's worth calling police or someone else..they are very loud!
Oh gosh thanks Monkey had to reread the letter as missed the bottom section..bit worrying to know potential fire hydrant damage in these times.. I did see 2 vans from London pumps company at the flats around 7pm
Did anyone manage to grab some water bottles left by Thames water at Dawson's Heights.. very nice off then.. although annoying to wake up to no water supply this morning
Oh the joys of waken up to the drilling sounds of strimmers 8am on a sunday morning, oh well the bushes looks neater, hopefully it will deter the part goers on dawsons hill when the weather gets warmer
Hi gillatab..I checked out goodgym website never heard of them..what a great idea I could not see details they run as a group though on Wednesdays??just running to your individual places to volunteer?
I still have not watched anything better then breaking bad which I saw on dvd and Netflix in 2015..I was hooked could not get enough of it ..drama packed each episode..the only thing that has come close is series 2 I think of line of duty the Danny storyline
I think it depends on where you live in ED ie close to lordship Lane or peckham Rye, I have resigned myself that if I want to go into central it has to involve 1 or 2 buses then change at peckham Rye or forest hill to catch the train, the 363, 176 and 185 buses work well for me for local routes.Although I always find Brixton abit of a flaff to get from top end of lordship Lane and take 2 buses..the 37 is a long wait if you miss one
Can you let me know of any places/organisations in Dulwich or surrounding towns i can volunteer 1 or 2 evenings a week, ideally looking for a position working alongside other volunteers
Thanks guys..oooo very cold today, we did a drink and snack stop at east dulwich tavern then took the 40 bus all the way to Borough Market, I have never being before.. and sat for evening song at Southwark cathedral and dinner after..
Borough market and Lewisham is a possibility be nice to go somewhere on a bus or dlr for a change. Mum likes markets..shops..little walking but not too much..thanks for suggestions so far I had a brainfreeze
We are going to Beckenham later and may get the last train to West dulwich,,don't think a P13 or P4 bus will pass at that time.. Do you know a taxi company to call? So agree on other thread re transport from central London into dulwich especially after 111:30..pm
Does anyone use the Thames link trains direction to Sutton. I AM thinking of catching this train tomorrow morning and wondered if they run on strike days and if any delays?
