  1. Our tabby cat Cheetah is missing (again). His home is Fellbrigg Road, but he's been known to wander in streets and gardens of Pellatt, Silvester, Wateley, Ulverscroft, Bawdale, North Cross and Crawthew Grove, and has a habit of appealing to be let in. Please let me know if you've seen him - he needs to come home and have his daily medicine! Thanks
  2. Saw a cat on Tuesday evening that looked very like this one on Fellbrigg Road near the junction with Whateley.
  3. Thanks Singalto. It's a nightmare isn't it. He's usually such a wanderer... I'm actually surprised he came back so quickly!
  4. He's home. He has to stay in for a week (he's going stir crazy!), so if he escapes again and you see him, please let us know. Thanks.
  5. Please tell us if you see our tabby Cheetah! He's had an operation and is wearing a cone to stop him tearing at his stitches, so he shouldn't be out at all, but escaped earlier on Wednesday and is missing. He's in danger of doing himself harm or getting his wound infected.
  6. Hi Paul, In the Neighbourhood Vet on Lordship Lane around 2pm today a woman had brought in a cat that she'd taken in after finding it miaowing at her door, and she was clearly looking for clues to where it belonged. I heard one of the staff tell her they'd scanned it for a microchip but hadn't found one. I'd describe it as either Burmese or Siamese in appearance - I didn't look too closely (it was in a carrier) so I can't say for sure that I recognise your missing cat, but it's at least possible. The receptionist at the vet said it looked like it had been living outdoors for some time. The vet's number is 8299 2388. Hope Totti turns up, whether or not he's the one I've seen!
  7. Thanks anyway.
  8. Hi Sandnot. He's not missing now. He definitely hasn't got darker - could it be another tabby you're seeing?
  9. Just announced himself at my front door ... round tea time, of course! Have you seen Cheetah, missing since Saturday evening? He's been known to roam in Fellbrigg, Whateley, Silvester, Pellatt, Ulverscroft roads. He may cry for food, but please don't feed him! Needs to come home and take his meds. http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u434/213cavendish/c499c822-b2b5-4615-9920-4e119a1349dd_zpswhhgshqs.jpg http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u434/213cavendish/4fd7f5ec-c4d8-4ad0-be3d-e4a5352dfab3_zpswn3nwx38.jpg
  10. Fantastic news. You came over to talk to us when we were putting up posters for our lost cat Cheetah. Then we found Cheetah, and I really hoped you would find Pippy. Enjoy the reunion!
  11. Cheetah has now been found after three days thanks to this wonderful forum. Thanks to all those who helped! If he wanders off again, please don't be tempted to feed him (I know how persuasive he can be) as he's on a special diet for an illness. Thanks again.
  12. Hi there Singalto. He is gorgeous and we're so sad. We've just got back from hols, but have been round the streets calling for him. Will put up more posters and call for him again tonight. Thanks.
  13. Our tabby cat, Cheetah, is missing from Fellbrigg Road. We have attached photos. He is on medication and needs to take them. He was seen around Whately/Silvester Road last week and it seems someone may have fed him. We've been on holiday, with our niece house-sitting, and when we go away he tends to wander ??meowing for attention/food. Please could you look in your sheds and so on. Also, if you see him don't feed him because he eats a special diet, but please do let us know as he needs to come home for his meds. His brother misses him and so do we. Thank you. Adrian and Jacqueline. http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u434/213cavendish/cheetah1_zpswfmqcz28.jpg http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u434/213cavendish/Cheetah_zpsrwtzk5go.jpg http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u434/213cavendish/3f8e6c8b-eb5b-4b36-bb57-e2ae73bbbf92_zps0l8nlbfz.jpg

Ate a v good lunch there recently, had their special of sausage & bean ragout, well made and a decent portion; my wife enjoyed her salad w. chorizo and (not quite enough) goat's cheese ... service was friendly and efficient
  15. Thanks - you may be right, perhaps at that hour it wasn't on its way to make a delivery, but I think I'll talk to the builders yard just in case.
  16. A neighbour in Fellbrigg Rd tells me he saw an extra-long lorry back into my car at around 5am on either Wednesday 8th March or Thursday 9th. All he noticed was that the lorry might have been from a plasterboard supplier (heading for the Bawdale Rd builders' merchants? Who knows...) and may have been blue. My car is damaged and I'd like to trace the owner of the lorry - did anyone else in the area see this lorry having difficulty making a turn at the junction of Fellbrigg and Bawdale? Neighbour says the lorry driver got out to check whether he'd bashed the car, but didn't leave a note - despite the fact that he obviously knew what damage he'd done.

  18. Hope he's not too much of a nuisance. We'd appreciate it if you don't feed him (I know how persuasive he can be) or he'll not be able to get through the cat flap! Thanks.
  19. Hi Just-Jamie. Just seen this ??I think this is my cat and he's not a stray so please don't rehome him. Don't worry, he is much loved and well fed, but has a propensity to wander every now and then. He always comes home in the end. Thanks for your concern. Best wishes.
