  1. You started out in 1993 ! I remember when East Dulwich had perfectly good local Will storage specialists who would store Wills in superior and more down to earth snuff boxes (forgive the pun) and not these fancy blow in Will storage experts who store them in ponsey biscuit tins.
  2. Spurs last 10 results: Won 7, drawn 2, lost 1 Leicester last 10: Won 8, drawn 1, lost 1. There's a cigarette paper between them over last 10 matches but Spurs have drawn too many games earlier in season. Of course the season is a marathon and not a sprint, but I do think Spurs have been the better side over last 10 games overall. It's jumping the gun a bit but I'll be intrigued to see how Leicester do next season and whether they can attract any big names to the King Power.
  3. Yes I saw him do that and thought the same. Understandable reaction but I'm sure he will be back to motivating the team today. Spurs need to still be playing as if there is a chance and the players have to believe that. If only to motivate themselves to carry on competing and winning to secure a runners up position which brings automatic Champions league qualification and stops the Woolwich Wanderers leapfrogging us.
  4. Yes Spurs will probably need 5 wins but one lives in hope of a Leicester meltdown. Not that I'm begrudging of them winning the title as its a magnificent achievement. I think Spurs are a young side and if they can keep hold of the manager and best players they could be a real contender next season. Leicester winning will certainly put pressure on some of the similarly sized clubs i.e Southampton, WBA etc as their owners may feel that if Leicester can win the league why can't they. It's a view that is understandable considering where Leicester were last season and the finances they have available.
  5. I'm still not giving up hope on Spurs yet. Leicester are grinding out the results, doing it the Chelsea way, but they have a couple of tricky fixtures coming up. Sunderland away and West Ham at home. I could see them possibly dropping points in these games. Mind you Spurs have to play United at home and Stoke away, so not much easier. It's not over yet.
  6. It was a good point for Spurs. It may seem like two points dropped but psychologically it keeps their momentum going as they didn't lose. Yes Leicester could open up the gap today but I feel somewhere in the run in they will have a wobble. If they don't then good luck to them as they will be deserved champions.
  7. The Smiths: 'How soon is now', originally the b side for 'William,it was really nothing' https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HUMh8GQnDW8
  8. Well maybe we should allow them to shag on buses as well. I mean, it's a basic human need right ? And who knows what their circumstances are? They could have such busy lives and jobs that the only chance they get for a quick leg over is on the bus home.
  9. Thanks for pointing it out to me though I think you know what I meant when I said 'winner'. Winning the Danish league is ok but you, me, Dulwich Fox or Sue could probably do that if we took over one of the top teams in Denmark or Sweden....bit like managing Celtic. Spurs to win at Liverpool.
  10. what with you and you're baguette munching and mums with their tits out feeding their sprogs i think I may start walking instead of getting a bus.
  11. Keep them coming bartender.
  12. You must be permanently sloshed as your ramblings always seem alcohol induced.
  13. He is a narcissist of that there can be no doubt..... ...but women breast feeding in public is a bit attention seeking in some way that I'm not sure how to describe. Seems unecessary....the kid can wait until it gets somewhere a bit more private before its fed.
  14. He's a good experienced coach and manager of that there is no doubt. He did a great job with Fulham....not so great with Blackburn and Liverpool. And what the stats you've written above don't show is the good job he did with the Swiss national side. But.... ...I think he does better when expectation is lower. His record also suggests that he works better with a certain level of player, but maybe not so well with top class players.
  15. ...and picking your nose. And leave your buggy blocking the bus doors just for good measure.
  16. and listening to noisy music on your headphones.
  17. He doesn't look like a winner to me. He's got no previous record of being a winner either. Then again neither does Claudio Ranieri.
  18. The main weakness with the England side is the manager. I don't think he will be daring enough when it comes to the crunch in a big game, say a quarter or semi final. That may manifest itself either in his selection , his tactics or his substitutions. We were awful in the world cup and Woy's lucky he was kept on in my book.
  19. Thanks for that totally useless comment.
  20. Sue does the world all revolve around you? How arrogant to assume they were talking about you. It could have been my drivel they were referring to.
  21. I agree about a buggy being left in front of a door being annoying and ignorant....but eating on a bus can be considered in the same way by many people. You have to accept that really whether you agree or not. I'm sure the person who left the buggy in front of the door did it absently minded and didn't intend it to ruffle your feathers so much. Both examples of mildly anti social behaviour and we are indeed all guilty at some time or other.
