    Still having problems with TV can not get BBC 1,2 reset TV even went back to factory settings Be grateful for help Gaynor
  3. Can only get a few channels on TV retuned it and still nothing I have not got sky so not sure if TV is just broken Any advice be grateful Thanks Gaynor

Hi Sweetgirl He has had places to live before from charity but he likes to be free some of the homeless prefer this they have there personal reasons for this he does have problems with alcohol It's nice of you to think you would take a stranger into your home personally I could not do this it may sound harsh to you I give money to homeless charity who have the expertise on the homeless Sadly there have been to many stories of people taking in homeless with tragic ending I have given him food, bedding and chatted to him lots of times and he had many friends around the area hopefully he's ok You have a one heart so never change Gaynor
  6. You must feel terrible is your cat chipped if so this proves it's yours but not sure how to go about it but there must be someone who can help it's theft at the end of the day Maybe animal charity can help you go about getting cat back All the best Gaynor

Hi Monica That's so kind of you I have not visited him since the car crash everything all up in the air for me at the moment hopefully I can see him next week. He has got some friends who built his little place and I hope he has managed to stay off the alcohol he was 6 days without it when I saw him. Your very kind to help as long as he is warm,dry and has some food that's all we can do Thanks again Gaynor

  12. We're I live there was an abandoned car for months no tax or insurance council came and took it away it was parked on road though Gaynor

He's been on Street for a long time was in shelter accommodation but felt trapped for personal reasons I was going down to see him again but my hubby had car crash just as we left him found out it's a right off Will try and see him soon as do not live far away and will take him food Christmas day which is the worst of days to be alone Hope this helps you Gaynor

Hi I took him a duvet on Saturday, sadly hubby crashed car someone stopped and we went into him 2 minutes after leaving the gentleman so I have only just given him his frying pan and some food I have offered to do washing for him I put it all on the other thread but have had long chat with him Great your helping Gaynor

  16. Hi Yes gentleman has no legs he been on the streets along time I have emailed Sally army to see what I can do other than keep eye on him he has been in hostels before but did not like them Gaynor

Yes Insurance will be ok but your right about homeless and help this man lost his legs through doing tour of duties Some years ago I had a friend who was in a children's home she feared for her 16th birthday as you were thrown out then with no help my mother took her in but only room for her to sleep on sofa but did what we could sadly due to the abuse she suffered she committed suicide I will never forget her fearing her 16th birthday being thrown out at least now they are not thrown out until they are 18 and get help

Hi All I went to see the gentleman gave him a duvet I had he's a very polite man had chat he's ok just need a frying pan so going to get one for him Coming out of the parking were vets are someone stop my hubby's car smashed into it everyone ok except hubby's car typical me trying to help and that happens never mind that's life I suppose Gaynor

  23. Thanks for getting back to the subject, if I could have presented myself I would have thought nothing of it I lucky my hubby can take care of me no extras but at the end of the day as long as you have a roof over your head food in belly and lekky everything else is a bonus Gaynor

Thank you for all your comments l think I was just annoyed with the fact that after saying I was 53 I never got the chance to send CV and did not even get a email saying sorry for your loss after having my own business for 25years I personally think this is just plain bad manners I have worked all my life no time off ever just felt like working more locally instead of the commute used to long hours up town and very late nights nothing is too much for me At the end of the day it's the employer's preogative Many thanks Gaynor
