  2. Rangers score 7 tonight. Oh dear. Hope they are not planning to make a habit of that.
  3. Who is the big chap on the left blocking the view? ;-) Apart from that, looks great.
  4. With the UK and US markets rising strongly for the last two weeks, is there growing confidence that sentiment is improving for the longer term?

  12. I think anna could do better than that herself Keef. Noone's ever told me I have had enough. Not that I remember anyway........ Edited to say: It might have happened last Thursday, and Saturday. Maybe it might happen this Friday too.

  15. I was not aware I made any comment on cost cutting anna. You may be confusing me with someone else. I have commented in general on the appropriatness of the letter.
  16. Sean steams in......people run scared.

Not surprised at all. That would be fine with me too. Kings is a great hospital. But I guess there are therefore 5988 more to account for. :)

The Prince Albert is not for everyone. :) Can we keep the screen for rugby and golf please. There's a thought - are you showing the Ryder Cup by any chance?

My surprise was to the amount of people earning over that threshold - 6000 people !. And many will no doubt earn greatly in excess of this threshold. One GP earns ?485k apparently.

I think it is you who could be considered to be on the high horse Keef with the "holier than thou" attitude - "lets support the NHS whatever it costs and however it wants to achieve its funding this will always be ok". The NHS writes to former patients with an implied plea for charitable donations whilst 6000 of its personnel earn more than the Prime Minister. Get off your high horse matey.
  22. more than 6000 people in the nhs earn more than the prime minister at ?142k. this suggests the nhs may not be short of money - until it pays all these salaries. And then it will be short of money and will write another load of letters.
  23. Should that post have a smiley?
