  1. I think that was 'canned booing'. Cant believe the nice people at whl would be disrespectful.
  2. Im trying to remember if i put that bet on spurs during the week.
  3. Hospitals will never have enough money to do all that they want/can do. In the same way that schools will not have enough money and therefore try to raise funds in other ways. Its just one of those things. Kings is a deserving cause but many will feel they pay sufficient in taxes to have paid enough of their monthly money in the direction of the NHS. Others might not. Personally I think direct mailing is a bit cheeky.
  4. spurs.

  6. 2 of which were debatable penalties. But celtic were absolutely awful. Words could not describe it. Just waiting for a mate arriving in from gatwick on delayed flight. Where is the latest of late bars on a thurs night? Please help, i need to forget!
  7. celtic fans can put their passports away for a year or two. 3 -0.
  8. fair enough but has he not done well with both leicester and villa. And there is no bigger pressure cooker than glasgow. I still think he has a fair chance of getting the man united job.
  9. Nice post rosie. And 3 blokes at once. You must be a hottie.
  10. Im not sure 'hello darling' from the castle is high on the london harassment priority list. Surely.
  11. Oh dear - Rangers have a tough one. MU and Valencia. Lets hope you can do something for the scottish co efficient, to help Celtic get a pot 2 seed next year. :)

But he deserves his chance at a bigger club, Steve McLaren got the England job on the back of getting to the Uefa Cup Final and Roy Hodgson got the Liverpool job for his success. Not sure about Villa punching their weight under O Neill. No mention of Leicester, who will never see the same success again. If you compare Gordon Strachan to Martin O Neill you did not watch Celtic during these times. Worlds apart. blah blah blah ...

  14. Fewer opportunities though?
  15. The draw is always exciting, you want to be paired with the big teams for some great european nights, but then you want to get through too. I will be watching Spurs no matter what as a bit bored with Arsenal, Chelsea and MU easing through the group stages each year whilst seemingly in second gear. With Spurs in pot 3 it is a very different proposition in that they have in theory to outperform a higher seed to get into the top two places.
  16. I ate at Franklins about a month ago and there definately WAS squirrel on the menu. Thought it was quite amusing but was not tempted. I secretly hoped it was the squirrel who digs little holes in my lawn. I might be tempted to eat him soon.
  17. 1 post and 82 reads tells its own story.
  18. You might not find it very funny when you get there.....::o
  19. You have no competition LM - I think he is in Dublin. And they dont have internet over there.
  20. As well as forgetting to pay the charge, did you also enter the congestion zone? If not, then you should be ok. Hope that helps.
  21. I'm sorry about that. Not as quick as I used to be.

Yes - an evening do at the pavillion with some light music and a few drinks and maybe a quick presentation about the club. On the night, encourage people to attend an informal nets session as david suggests, they hand over their contact details in return for being included in a decent cricket related raffle prize and follow up with them direct to make sure they come along to the nets session. (Once everyone is signed up you just need to get their wives to let them have a whole day off each weekend)
  23. Went to see War Horse last week - very good, if you fancy treating yourself to a theatre trip.
  24. That's young boys for you.
