  1. I said - don't shout at me - its the bbc that said it.
  2. I believe women quite rightly don't rush into these decisions. Also they don't necessarily have entrenched political views, hence they are fully entitled to take their time to decide. Some people think they take longer to understand the issues and then just run out of time, but I don't agree with that, at all.
  3. Apparently women are the most likely to be floating voters and also more likely to have a late change of mind on whom they might vote for. Hence they are being targeted by all parties. This election may be won and lost on Mumsnet..... Disclaimer - This not my view, but the view of the BBC. (So don't shout at me)
  4. That's all you should need Jah. After 2 weeks you can put your flag away too. :)
  5. Sounds pretty safe to me Quids - well done WH.
  6. You might have misunderstood the significance of the day Quids. Its St Georges day - Not St Georgeous Day - you don't have to dress up. Anyway - Sean will be back from his StGeorges day celebrations soon - you can have one of his dresses.
  7. You will probably edit that to a point "." in the morning. You're not talking any sense tonight, I'll put that down to St Georges day.
  8. The doom and gloom merchants have gone a bit quiet on this thread. I'm off to find the double dip thread next.

  11. Posh English chap suggesting all English people should vote for him. Apparently Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales are taking everyone's money. The English get a raw deal. Vote for the English Democrats......... Could these people be worse than the BNP?
  12. You will edit that to a "." in the morning.
  13. I'm waving back..... You mean facebook maybe. If you are English today you should be too drunk to type - what is your excuse?
  14. I suspect you are being offered a few fireman's hoses by Miss Hope for your work Brum. Tell me that is not true....
  15. Brum - can you please declare your alligiences (if any) to Hope and Greenwood? Have you earned a fee for your H&G lobbying work?
  16. If anyone is watching Newsnight now - Paxman is making mincemeat of Cameron (IMO). Quite fun viewing.
  17. My pleasure Jah, don't mention it.

  19. I guess the England flags I have seen today can stay in place until after the quater finals of the World Cup. Part of the reason the Irish celebrate st patricks day is because its a national holiday and people have to take the day off school and work - and as its in mid March when the weather is rubbish the pub is a good place to go (after cumpulsory morning mass). If everyone in England was off work today I'm sure people would find the pub a good place to celebrate. I was off work today so I had a nice glass of wine with my lunchtime meal to celebrate George's day on your behalf. Just in case you were all busy at work.
