  1. Did someone mention Sky. Brilliant.
  2. Easyjet?

I did not know that - I do have SKY but cannot stand Ewan Murray. I think the BBC do a fantastic job on the masters and I have watched it every year since 1980 during which time the team has improved with Ken Brown Sam Torrance and Wayne Grady being great support now to Peter Allis. It just won't be the same on Sky.
  4. I saw your coment on this already Quids but you are barking up the wrong tree on the racism thing, I believe. With Woods it is not the fact that he slept around - perhaps Faldo and Norman did too - its the fact that he did it with prostitutes and porn stars. Pre arranged contracts with professionals in the sex industry. In short, most believe, he let the image of the sport down. Most people make mistakes in life but Woods was into deviant behaviour.

That must be hard to take Jah so hats off to your sportsmanship. I have to say as a neutral I would have much preferred a Spurs Chelsea final.
  6. The little Italian amateur sitting in the Butler Cabin waiting to receive his medal alongside Mickleson was wearing his sweatshirt and shiny white trainers. Most gof clubs in England have a strict "no trainers" rule so that was quite funny.
  7. That's because you are not a golfer who was not brought up with the legendary Allis commentaries. If you ask keen golfers, most think he is superb. He is a special talent.
  8. ?150 profit on the golf. ?50 down on the GN. Not a bad weekend. Road to recovery after cheltemham. Hedged Arsenal bet by backing Chelsea big ahead of Old Trafford game, so that looks very good now with MU drawing today. More positives. Am booking tickets for Thursday and Friday at Ascot so need a treasure trove for June.
  9. Peter Allis on Mickleson's daughter being congratulated.... He's just my Dad He may be a superstar to you But to me, he's just grumpy old dad.... I like Peter Allis and Martin Johnson's column criticising him in today's Sunday Times was way off the mark. Allis is the best british golf commentator there has ever been.
  10. Not if you are a girl. If you are a bloke than ask yourself some questions.
  11. Work tomorrow SP? from heaven to planet earth.

Mick Mac Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Have added Kim and Campbell to my list of bets. > > Rory > Big Phil > Leonard > Kim > Campbell > > To that I will peobably add whoever is winning > after 2 rounds...etc etc Quick reminder of my Masters bet. Would be a half decent win on Phil but the one I would like would be: Anthony Kim 44 ?25.00 ?1,075.00 Kim in a bit of trouble at 17 but his back nine has been fantastic.
  13. Im beginning to wonder why Ken Brown is not playing in the Masters this year - he knows all the putts and chips.
  14. Tiger's left the ball in the bunker - I could do that.

Ironically my series reminder for Come dine with me has just appeared on screen - but tonight I have to decline. The Masters is my favourite sporting viewing of the year Tone.

  17. The BBC is an honourable insitution. 5 hours of coverage in the prime time Sunday evening slot. Excellent. I have no doubt this is what everyone wants to watch tonight...:) The good old Beeb.
  18. Go Tony - can he do it?
  19. And can wave to David Cameron from their terraces ;-)
  20. First thought was Tony Mowbray but on reflection decided he probably won't make the shortlist.
  21. Any of you guys know anything about this company and how it is viewed in the music industry? As I undestand it, it is a mechanism allowing musicians without record deals to upload and sell music via iTunes etc without having to have a direct contract with iTunes or equivalent platforms. The musician pays a monthly fee to Soundcloud for the service and receives a payment from itunes etc when their music has been downloaded. Soundcloud.com

  23. That was a line for you Quids, as you know.
  24. Hamburg still rolling with the punches and 'only' fulham between them and a home ground final. If they beat fulham i will have to hedge as have them at 18s.
  25. Tigers going to be a real hit with the ladies on Sunday night if he wins this. And Erin's not here to keep an eye on him.
