Now that Arsenal are playing with a striker they are a different team. They play the most stylish football and now have a person to do what footballers are supposed to do and score a goal at the end of all the nice play.

Was sitting on a ?320 profit on France Slam so have backed the "no slam" at 5.7 so am now guaranteed a ?260 profit either way. Seemed a small price to play for peace of mind and the right thing to do to compensate for Cheltenham losses. Could not leave it to chance. :-$ ashamed of hedging. 6.2/5.2 seems very good odds on the France Slam with hindsight.

Good draw for Hamburg against Standard with Wolfsburg or Fulham in semi - and with the final at their home ground who knows. They have immediatley come intp 5.5 betfair.

I have Hamburg at 19 for the Europa. Thay seem to be struggling a bit at the oment tho so don't expect them to get to the final but an easy draw today would be nice. Liverpool, or something like that.

The only worry I have is that he is 10 years old. Best Mate died at 10. But he was in great form at Kempton on boxing day - so a repeat of that form would surely see him as the winner.
