  2. Champagne brunch at South London Gallery? Couples massage session? Watch Wonder Woman or Hampstead at the Picturehouse, the screenings start at 10am. You could sit in the back row...
  3. Paine & Hunter. They took some last week
  4. Bit more information might not go amiss! I happen to know where you are but maybe an address/menu would be useful to share. I'm deffo visiting!!

I remember having to deal with a woman who was deceased in her home for a while, the first thing that I looked for was a pet, just in case. I've emailed the Hammersmith animal shelter, I'll take one in.
  6. PLEASE CAN I ASK YOU ALL TO SHARE FAR AND WIDE. The Blue Cross in Hammersmith are heavily involved with animal rescue as well as treatment and boarding of pets affected by the devaststing Grenfell Tower fire. They are looking for foster homes for dogs, cats and small animals until they are able to go back to their owners. If you may be able to help please email either Emma on [email protected] or Louise on [email protected] Thank you
  7. Heard them faintly Melbourne Grove/LL end. weird as quite prolonged but late too
  8. That's a no-no for me whatever age! Seems she's of an age to be on a bus travelling alone, I would be uncomfortable
  9. I was friends with a deaf girl and just signed random stuff but we managed to spend time together having fun! I thought she was just making signs I didn't really get the concept of sign language

The appalling pavement outside the big St Christopher's shop in LL is dangerous, I'm able bodied and not older and I still have issues with it! But I'm assuming resistance to repairs from the actual organisation because it's a charity? Not sure how it works?
  12. My phone doesn't ring at all but suddenly I get a voicemail! There is a Facebook group for suffering EE customers, it's such a common thing.
  13. The light certainly does not change in their favour, I've sat there frustratingly frequently. Who would that be reported to? Keneagle-that's the point of it. The bus gets the green light wherever it is
  14. I filled this in and left all personal questions blank. Pointed out we already have the bye-laws and community wardens in place to tackle this problem. Just needs some regular hi-vis patrols and fines handed out.
  15. How about names that you have an unreasonably irate reaction to? A cute toddler I see frequently is called Jasper, I discovered this and was dismayed. And sorry but Simeon? Hate it

  18. It's a thing. Elsie. Olive. Noah, etc, lots of 'old fashioned names are making a comeback.
  19. Oddbox are great. http://shop.oddbox.co.uk/ Or a little different-Forest Hill Food Assembly. https://thefoodassembly.com/en/assemblies/49
  20. There are signs definitely on the big St Christopher shop, it takes more than a sign unfortunately.
  21. I get the sentiment TE44 but leave it somewhere else, where charity shop volunteers are not required to spend time shifting it to the rubbish bins. Imagine having to bag up and move sometimes damp/smelly/scattered donations
  22. Don't assume it's the hard up taking stuff. I've seen a 4x4 stop and passenger help themselves to absolutely everything! 23. I know! Technically it's also flytipping...

That's true of clothing that's not good enough to sell, but some charity shops have stopped taking duvets for H&S reasons
  25. Well done those people who left donations outside any closed charity shop today, hope you realised your items would be either stolen, or ruined by rain. I witnessed this today (more than once) as I went through Lordship Lane.
