  1. The bus stop is open but are the traffic lights still out? At Whateley Road?
  2. I absolutely LOVE this-his observations are spot on, love the way Liz is always picked on, watch it over again to pick up what I missed the first time. My fave has to be when the subject of his crush, the 'sensitive' actor comes to his Grandma's house, I was covering my eyes in painful recognition! I admit he SA is slightly awkward, but that's deliberate surely? Thought I was sadly alone in liking this but no!

  4. No this is definately a kitten who has grown from a tiny thing to a slightly bigger kitten, but still young and thin. It's out all hours and weathers and is not a four year old. In fact it was wandering out last night at 10.50pm and again looked as if it had been out all night as it was there again at 8am.
  5. There is a cute ginger kitten wandering opposite the Mr Lui end of Melbourne Grove, very friendly, seems to be out in the elements a lot for one so young. He has followed me along until I've placed him back into the garden he seems to be from, he was out at 10.30pm the other night. Glittery collar. If he is yours, I'm just concerned. A similar thing happened with an older cat that everyone thought had a home, and it turned out the poor thing was stray and ill. I hope someone can put my mind at rest?

Already. Sorry but I only check this at work, thanks for the info jrussel, I shall be passing it on to the relevant parties.

  9. My current job is in community safety, has it's ups and downs, like the contact with people... I am a serial volunteerer! My last and favourite was in a food project, FareShare-redistributing fresh and tinned food, donated by supermarkets, to needy projects, very satisfying...
  10. Also try contacting station manager Barry on here, his name is SMBJones-he's done a huge amount of work with forumites and is very responsive and helpfulness personified
  11. You're an absolute star, hope you get a bonus! We'll all get up a petition if not!

  13. Hi there, I suffered from exactly the same thing and found the council did come out at a reasonable time to visit my house, i.e 6pm instead of 2am! It worked like a dream and the person was served with an abatement order, I received a copy. I would urge action to end the dog's suffering and yours!

You could always make a gift to leave here for someone, you have to pick the fired items a week or so later....
  16. I've been to the pottery paining place, All Fired Up, with some adults-they supplied pizza and we took booze, open some late nights or used to be...
  17. I am opting out for sure. I received a recorded delivery letter which I had to pay excess on, from my doctor's surgery-thought it might be important. It was just a 'stop smoking' leaflet, along with a 'we see from our records you are a smoker' type generic letter. Never smoked in my life! It's still on my records though, crazy!
  18. love it! this is gonna be printed out and sent to my mum!
  19. One of my favourite places in all of London, I'm always recommending it! Go in summer for the flowers too...Wonder if I can have my ashes scattered there....
  20. Any ideas/suggestions welcome... my outside drain is blocked and now whenever the washing machine empties or we wash up, the water spills all over the paving. I've just tried so called extra strong drain clearer, do I need a plumber? Anyone had this and been able to DIY?
