  3. We have an apple tree if anyone wants some in exchange for some stage 1 weaning fruit and veg - am going to start pureeing lots this week - so some carrots, sweet potato, squash, pumpkin, pears would be fab. Thanks Sue
  4. Hi Mollie I have mentioned about your new play room on the Spring baby club - we are due a meet at Wooden circle in Warwick gardens on Thur afternoon. I have said your place would be a good back up option if rain - obviously everyone would be buying drinks/ snacks. Hope this is okay? Our Spring baby meet is actually also part of Wooden circle group meet up each month - so there could be a few people dropping by if rain!! Sue
  5. Just saw on the thread that the kids room at the Victoria pub on Bellenden rd has now been finished so would be a good back up if raining on thursday as has toys for those with toddlers in tow rather than sitting in a cafe. plus 25% off if you join their mum and baby club (free) http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?29,666873 Sue x
  6. Ooh I fancied this too Mrs F - didn't make the last one as LO only few days old then.... It starts at 2.30 -4. I'm supposed to be meeting up with my NCT girlies but will tell them to go there too. Weather says sunny intervals with showers at 4pm. Back up could be at coffee shop petit.... (forgotten name)! Yak- thanks for feeling the pain of my 45 min intervals! They are mainly when it is hits 4 or 5am - think he is going to be an early bird - which is not good for me as I love lie ins! Alexa- I'm going to Peckham library breastfeeding - Freddie was tongue tied and had little snip at Kings 2 weeks ago so have to go toe Peckham library for check up. Was there last week too! Maybe see you in there! Look forward to meeting you all - new ones and old ones - Snowboarder - how time has flown by - can't believe it was 10 weeks since your LO arrived, remember your new arrial post and it doesn't seem that long ago! Sue x
  7. Hope you all had good meet up. Sorry I didn't make it - had a sleep starved night - Freddie waking every 45 mins from the early hrs. Will hopefully get there next time x
  8. I will try and make it - but can take a while to head out. Are we heading for the playground or the picnic area if nice? Sue x
  9. Oooh Well done to all the new babies. Mine arrived on Wed 6th April by C section as found out at my sweep appointment on the Monday that he was breech! (Although had a scan 2 wks previously as my midwife had questioned the position and he definitely did not move in those 2 weeks!!) We would definitely be up for a picnic (weather dependant) on Tuesday 3rd May. The picnic area at the back of the park is a great idea - I was in there in on BH Monday and it was lovely. Let's keep an eye on the weather or get a plan b - in case of rain? Sue and Freddie x
  10. Hi all Had my little boy on 6th April - we would love to join the next picnic in the park - will put the dates in the diary. Do we all just bring picnic food to share and a blanket to sit on? Fab idea - well done kittysailing. |'ve joined the facebook group too. Sue and Freddie x
  11. My midwife appointment is at 2pm at kings and we all know how long you can wait at Kings- so I doubt I'll make it today - but if someone posts whether at PR or Dulwich park will try and make it if running on time! Thanks. Sue x
  12. Hi Mrs F,Yak, Snowboarder etc who are planning tomorrow afternoon meet up. I will try and get there. I need an appointment with midwife and post dates clinic - so it depends on that, plus depends on how well I can move with my oooooouch muscle pain. Are you going for Lucas again or somewhere else? What time? Thanks Sue x
  13. Hi ladies Has anyone else caught the cloth nappy bug?!! It can become quite an addiction. I am regularly on babycentre.co.uk cloth nappy group and cloth nappy tree loooking at preloved stuff. I have not even started using them properly yet as little one not here yet (was due April 1st!). Would any of you be interested in a cloth nappy coffee morning once a month to discuss what nappies using at the moment - how well they are working, give each other support using them if new to it, maybe swap some to try some other makes out for free or trading some that have grown out of/ not getting on with? I am happy to organise and host at my place or we could take turns in hosting at our own places? Let me know if there is interest. I love cloth nappies and would be great to have a cloth nappy chats in the flesh. I have also mentioned this in reusables V disposables post I saw to drum up interest. Look forward to hearing from you Sue x Sue

  15. Sympathise with you Mrs F. I'm 2 days over now. I have just been for walk, been eating pineapple, had the curry - gonna jump on my other half this afternoon - hopefully something will work. Am in quite a bit of agony with a pulled muscle on my left side by ribs caused from a bad cough last week - so really want it out now!! Although not sure what labour positions I'll be able to get in with my pulled muscle! Sue x
