I don't like walking without the buggy and getting the buggy out of the car etc is a hassle.. so the shorter the distance from car to pool, the better!
  2. Sounds good. Can you take an U8 and a U5 like at Beck spa or only one U5 like peckham, do you know?
  3. DEptford doesn't have dedicated parking though it is nice... will check out the others
  4. What's the closest one?
  5. Anyoen swim here? is it warm, easy to park?
  6. It's not shallow enough to walk, it's cooler than Peckham Pulse Nice softplay in the same building

  10. Yes, it's 1st and 3rd. I can't go atm (work on Tuesdays) but get along, it's good. How old are your babies? x I'll PM you
  11. My first baby was posterior rigt up until labour, and he was big.. 8lb 7 while I am 5ft 2. But he was mobie (acu helped) and the mw said he would probably shift in labour and he did. Still came out at a funny angle .. ROA rather than LOA but he did shift from ROP .. he was born at 41+4 and I had a lot of crampy pains in the days before so I think that was him getting into a better position. http://pregnancy.about.com/od/laborbasics/ss/fetalpositions_2.htm Def worth avoiding induction if you can and your baby is posterior!!
  12. hi twinmumy how old are your twins have youjoined the twins club x

  15. Yes, we junked nappies the day after he did his first poo/wee in the loo.... and had few accidents, so the time was obviously right. Not lookong fwd to toilet training twins. Hopefully can do them one at a time. But the thought of hanging around public loos with one toddler on the loo and another digging in the sanibin doesn't fill me with joy.

  17. there is a big difference bewteen knowing you have wee'd and being able to predict it old adage is start tt at 3, end at 3 start at 2, end at 3 some truth to that i think
  18. WE tried with son no 1 at 2 1/2, complete failure, it was summer so w eeft nappy of and he just pooed and weed on the floor... but at 2 3/4 he got the idea and did it all in a week.. not generally a GF fan but that approach does work... plus chocolate buttons!

  20. Discovery planetis very small. Little rascals at Bellingham is quite good. If anyone fancies meeting up at a soft play on Thurs or Fri, let me know.Bit loth to take twins and a 6 yo by myself (it's impossible even getting to the loo if I need it!)
  21. Took us almost 8h to get back from Croydon, only just got back... NOT fun with two babies and another child in the car. Thank goodness we had a full tank and snacks etc in the car!
  22. You can get generic paracetemol syrup from the pharmacy (much cheaper) but not sure what it will have in it. It's eitehr artificial sweeeteners or sugar, is the choice, really...
