  1. Though IME small children get muddled easily, it's always worth clarifying exactly what has a Happened before getting cross about it
  2. Teachers are not expected to supervise pupils at lunch time, most schools employed midday supervisors specifically or deploy teaching assistants. Having said that, reception teachers may eat lunch with the children at first. There should be staff available to help them Choose food, supervise eating, help them Clear their trays etc and then supervise the playground.

  5. As neither published 2013 admission Policy refers to sibling priority for pupils at the other school, it's odd they have been stating the opposite in Meetings - perhaps they are referring to a planned change for the future?
  6. Harris boys doesnt maKE any mention of priority to boys wuith sisters at Harris girls. Nor is the admission on straight distance - it's fair banding http://www.harrisdulwichboys.org.uk/information.asp?l=2&p=8

  13. Kings run a twin antenatal session If you want to make friends with other mums having babies at the same time, singleton nct mums (or mums from edf) aren't a bad place to start Sadly, mothers of twin newborns can't easily meet up in the nct fashion for coffee etc Can't fit one double buggy in many cafes, let alone several, and if you're juggling two babies it can be handy if done if your friends have just one The dish and spoon looks like a good place to meet, or the plough b Btw Enough space for double buggies The twins club meetings on Tuesdays and Fridays will be good of course

  19. Joella, I spoke to Mr Block and he confirmed it's aimed at everyone and excludes polo shirts ... That is really unusual for a state primary school There seems to be a bit of a change of atmosphere already this term that I am not impressed with
  20. Smoked salmon sounds fine if it first matter if it gets a bit warm?
  21. To be balanced it's recommended Carb and protein (eg sandwich) Fruit and or/veg (carrot sticks are good) Dairy (yoghurt) Some schools don't allow crisps If it's hot weather, a little rice pudding is UHt and handy instead of yoghurt. Re sandwich fillings, I find a bagel makes a good base as not easily squashed. I probably would avoid anything smelly. I don't think it matters if the sandwich filling is a bit repetitive - children prefer it! Cooked school Meals are free in southwsrk Now for reception - y4 inclusive
  22. Yes Unfortunately white shirt doesn't mean white polo shirt.
