  3. Between offers being made and term Starting you are automatically on the waiting list for all your choices snd if you reach the top, an offer will be made. After term starts, you need to ask to go on the waiting list because they start a different type of one Admission is always by criteria - usually distance But once term starts, if a child leaves, the child in line for that Space might live quite a while away ... As many families don't switch once school has started If someone moves in though who Lives closer than you, they leapfrog over you I am afraid
  4. I think you will find the la convinces schools to bulge again. Whereas on the first round it was spare classrooms being used, perhaps used for breakfast club, art etc ... Second time round it will be things like losing it rooms, partitioning halls, placing portacabins in playgrounds In the la where I work, officers keep returning to schools to search them for any undeclared space!

  8. Kingsdale entry requirements to 6th form http://www.kingsdale.southwark.sch.uk/page51/page48/
  9. By age the oldest is year 11 I don't know if there is much scope to enter 6th form a year early (ESP not having coveted secondary elsewhere which it doesn't sound like she has) In all honesty, I would wait A year if I where them, no doubt about it.. Then apply directly to 6th forms. However if she do enter at y11, hey will need an address hen contact schools directly to see if there is space Pupils do enter school or transfer at the start of y11... probably sitting just a few subjects. I think their best be is to speak now I some 6th forms to ask about the age, and what entry qualifications woul be required. Some places will do a 3 year course, with pupils who didn't get good enough has for entry to a level repeating in he first year ... That sort of thing might suit

  16. You could try lifting them from Their cot, if they sleep deeply, and sit in The dark in The bedroom with Them As far as a sterile bowl goes, if nothing has been Provided, a takeaway tray would prob work Place in a pan Of boiling water briefly Wash your hands well
  17. I have a fair bit of experience! There are sticky bags they can provide which work particularly well for boys, but don't tend to give a clean catch Just to have a sample dipped for blood/pus it's sufficient to put a ball of cotton in the nappy to squeeze out To get a proper sample though, you need to do it when they are asleep, or if feeding/cuddling for a particularly ill/floppy child TSke off nappy TSke sterile shallow bowl Place conti pad or waterproof bed sheet on your lap Sit child on your lap, feed, cuddle to sleep, distract with tv or story Hold bowl below child with spare hand Pay attention A warm feeling in your lap means there is wee to catch You need just a tiny bit Good luck!

  19. No that's not the definition of loading, which requires you to have already paid for the goods in question and just be collecting. http://www.ticketfighter.co.uk/parking.htm#loading However, the offence was probably being in the bus lane. I fear that the bus lane times and markings have precedence here.
