  1. So sorry to hear this Malia, I live in this area, we will be extra careful. Hope you are on the mend x
  2. No, so sorry but I'm afraid not....the cat in the photos has more white on his face...
  3. Photos now up on Ashbourne Grove and Chesterfield Rd. Please keep a look out. Many thanks
  4. I tried booking an appointment today, for sometime in the future not urgent but necessary, (admittedly with a particular doctor), as I'd had to cancel one last week due to staffing shortages (I also work for the NHS), and was told to ring back in the New Year! Not impressed...
  5. I haven't had a polling card either...am just going to turn up as, like Applespider, I had a letter saying that if everything was correct I didn't need to do anything. I'm going to the same polling station as last year (but that was different to previous years).
  6. I think College road is more of a problem than Gallery road....especially with the buses...
  7. At the risk of being shot down....innocent until proven guilty?
  8. Very glad to hear this, I'll be there. Thank you for letting us know.
  9. As a regular, but no longer frequent, member of the congregation, I feel incredible sadness about this. Charles helped me and my family through some truly bad times. He was always there for us. I didn't go to church this Christmas because I knew he wouldn't be there, and I'm so sad that he died. I didn't know until today that he had died. I hoped he would be back with us.
  10. I've had great food and good service there. I wouldn't eat there a lot, it is pricey but worth it for a treat/special occasion. I like it. I go for a drink now and again, I'm hoping for all of them that the cinema makes things better in terms of foot fall.
  11. Why don't people queue at bus stops any more? It's free-for-all.....I was in Edinburgh recently and they still queue...
  12. I had my 50th at The Patch. It was fab :)
  13. Sorry if this has been mentioned before but does anyone know why the buses are suddenly announcing "alight here for the Champion Hill stadium"? Doesn't seem like much of a landmark.....
  14. I heard of twins in New Zealand called Benson and Hedges, no joke, I heard it from a friend who is a nurse there
