  1. May I be the first to suggest "a fire"? Just to get it out of the way like ;-)
  2. I'll be interested to see how your schools attended and memories of seeing the Queen Mum turn out to be relevant to whatever complaint it is when you give some details.

  5. Thanks for responding Tessa.
  6. So, Liverpool fans. Imagine this - season over and next day the big announcement... "Rafa's off". Regardless of how it happens, what's your honest instant reaction do you think? And while we're here of course they'll give their all against Chelsea. They need the points to be sure of UEFA next year.
  7. Transport isn't a pain by most standards although no tube obviously and you're used to it. Aircraft noise - well, we've done that. I like it.

As I type there's a plane coming over and I've become aware of it. If I wasn't thinking about it I wouldn't. And I didn't know where to put this but it seems almost relevant here - Visualisation of European airspace reopening after the volcano thang - a lotta planes.
  9. And that was when you actually got kicked a bit. Meanwhile, allegedly in yesterday's Liverpool Echo - http://i60.servimg.com/u/f60/09/00/73/14/scan0010.jpg
  10. Perhaps if you gave a fuller indication of who you are, why you're doing it etc you might get more people?

Indeed. The OP asked "is there a problem or not in East Dulwich with plane noise?" Only if you have a problem with it...
  13. I thought it was a great game, fantastic performance from Inter and to an extent justice done after the fellah rolled around to get Motta sent off. Inter hardly went out to attack before that but from that point it was pure shut up shop and Barcelona couldn't break it down. Like quids says, maybe the media will stop fawning over their every move now.

It seems common sense to me. Surely they need to check they have evidence to work from rather than just trusting the word of a possibly vindictive neighbour.

  16. We had those as a take away from Mr Liu's once and they were shocking. So don't go there. Tse's in Forest Hill is current takeaway of choice depending whereabouts you are of course.
  17. This keeps coming up - why do people have to have a "cause"?
  18. I thought the gymnasts were a bit Hitler Youth.
  19. Ruff!
  20. Given injured.. can we have Hart back please? 0-0 not the end of the world, that City Spurs game at Eastlands just keeps getting more important..
  21. Thank you United.
  22. Polar Bear is unquestionably the hardest land animal.
  23. Well they managed to look even more amateurish.
