  1. Keef, the footbridge at Forest Hill is back in operation complete with lift.
  2. If France Australia and New Zealand (for instance) are so great why are there thousands of them over here....?
  3. Ripped jeans is I suspect the answer to what is indeed a crap question.
  4. Bet they said that about the parakeets...
  5. I think you'll find it's Europe cut off from us.. Anyhoo, it's not just the fans. It's a long time on a bus for the players as well.
  6. Back to the 80's, 180.
  7. Nehru Jacket
  8. mrs ruffers says Cheongsam something?
  9. Surely right. 60's 112.

Not really. I don't think we deserved to win and said why, and I don't like to see cheating like that from anyone. Hopefully after last minute goals in 3 games like that we'll have learnt some kind of lesson.
  11. I've been thinking the same about Pleat for a while, he's so much a Spurs man but he always seems to work on the Spurs games. He's not great on the rest but on those it becomes embarrassing, he started defending the Spurs fans for their Campbell abuse on five live the other night.. Back to yesterday and a bit of reflection City really bottled it, not sure what went wrong. Johnson can be great when he's going at people but whenever he cut inside, as he always will as he's on the 'wrong' wing, he played a short ball every time instead of driving in or crossing. Partly because United's defence was packed in there for sure, but also it seemed to be either bottle, or instruction. Similarly the back four and midfield were so far back we essentially conceded 2/3 of the pitch whenever we weren't in possession up till the last half hour or so. Overall just too much respect for a team which could have been beaten if we'd gone at them from the start, And while I'm here I lost of lot of respect for Rooney with his cheating to get Kompany booked.
  12. Not a good day at all! Still, keeps it interesting eh?
  13. 17 bleedin' seconds. COME ON CHELSEA!

  15. Much as I hate Fergie I have to admire this as a excellent bit of wind uppage. "This is a different derby as opposed to years gone by," Sir Alex Ferguson, the United manager, said. "It is the first time we have played City when they have a chance of actually achieving something."

Just be careful it doesn't look like you're flashing someone out as you go over a bump, need to be at least as aware of cars pulling out. I know they tell you to do it on the M4 bus lane but then that doesn't have side turnings.
  18. Does he actually sell hi-fi? Seem to remember he had stuff piled outside a while back at cheapo prices.

  21. I read the excerpts, but quote a whole song and it's scroll to the next one. Not that anyone cares I'm sure.
  22. Hitch hike, Old School stylee. Ferry to somewhere else in France?
  23. Courtesy of the Fiver http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/apr/16/manchestercity-manchester-united "Tottenham Hotspur are so unaccustomed to winning home matches against teams that cost ?43m less than them to assemble that they've marked the most recent occasion of doing so by releasing a commemorative DVD. Well done Spurs!" And it's true, they have http://shop.tottenhamhotspur.com/spurs08/detail.php?productid=ST44441&proddesc=Tottenham+Hotspur+2+-+1+Arsenal+(14/04/10)&supercategory=0030BRN00067~0030CAT00264&branch=&wcategory=CAT00264&catdesc=&super=0030BRN00067~0030CAT00264&treecode=TRE00017 Now disregarding the ongoing dig about how much Spurs have spent, second only to us I think, any thoughts from Spurs fans on this?
  24. SO City vs that lot tomorrow and my Sky box has packed up. Brilliant. Looking like the Vale.
