Just so you know.
  2. Well, Bridge has said he wants to carry on playing for England and "isn't that childish" (I believe that's the quote). Barry can do it, maybe Leighton Baines?

  5. I imagine they'll do more than just knock on the door, throw a kit at people, then go away. I'm guessing that that's almost a by product, the intention is to reassure people the police are around and aware of what's going on. Of course, people who weren't aware of what happened could possibly decide they would have rather lived in blissful ignorance!
  6. Update this week on Forest Hill http://www.southlondon-today.co.uk/tn/News.cfm?id=4411&headline=Forest%20Hill%20Pools%20plans%20make%20a%20splash

  9. And Nani three matches, and Giggs four weeks. And Terry's head not there, he looked poor last night. Maybe still a chance for Arsenal...? Or even someone else? Imagine that! So Ashley Cole's first game back is England's first game in South Africa? Oo-er.

Fair enough, thanks for the response. Ignore would be useful in a couple of threads just to avoid the name calling, I'm sure you know which I mean... Does the scary upgrade have a Reset All Posts as well perchance?

I'm talking about the rise of this in the last 20 years or so, not 60 though.

True. There was nearly a situation with that game they called off late in the snow (Stoke) where they were actually expecting tens of thousands less due to travel problems but they would have declared 60 for a half full stadium!

What I find interesting is that British humans at least, can't speak for the rest, didn't appear to be compelled to make these particular gestures until relatively recently.

  18. Fact of the day - According to Sky Man Utd's second highest scorer this season is Own Goal with 10.

And while I'm asking questions here's another (which I will try to make clear;-)) - does this forum software support an 'ignore' function?
  20. Hear what you're saying and if it's too dear fair enough. Don't forget to factor in the price of Stanstead Express or Gatwick or whatever, how much your time's worth, and whether you're actually going to end up at an airport remotely near the city you're visiting!
  21. Why not City? Bear in mind you can check in about half an hour before take off, the amount of time you'd save on both the journey to the airport and the hanging around time's going to be at least an hour and probably more.

Which, as far as I can see, does just that section. Is there a reset all posts/threads button somewhere though?
  23. Even one is pretty annoying.

Question - rather than resetting the number of unread posts for each section separately, is there a reset all posts/threads button somewhere and I can't find it? If not, could there be? ta
  25. After reading this thread I took a detour this morning to rubber neck on Townley Road. The school appears to have a big drive in / out driveway with gates. Why don't the coaches go in there?
