  2. Keef, I want to see bruises. The Nazi's how could you!! It's a disgrace, a horror. Tsk. Tut. Edited: No headbanging then? Pooh.
  3. I call it town.

  5. Thought this was nice (it soothed my aching head).
  6. 91.6, so I'm rounding up to 92 B) I didn't even watch the flight :(
  7. Cheers Sean - chilli pete maybe making a dent in my bankcard very soon!
  8. oh, I think that's a must, any excuse. I'll do a wash!
  9. *ahem* I hope you're aware of the dresscode for the Forum drinks!
  10. a peoples starchy gallery, I have oodles of potatoes I need to do something with.
  11. also, a lot of the legislation (the bits that aren't jerk - in reaction and scope) comes from implementing European legislation, either new rules on say, animal welfare, or rules that are meant to harmonise standards etc accross the continent. Often good in principle.....
  12. darn it. It took me an hour to get my 56. Guess that's the afternoon gone! Ditto what MP said.
  13. I agree with Mockers, I find it impossible to read/navigate, which irritates me, so never really look at it. Facebook seems to be heading the same way with all it's silly add on's.
  14. wm.she wont have a car now she's not a Minister. Did anybody know Southwark has a mayor? Vickie Nash be her name. Never knew.
  15. posts aren't the same as experiencing it yourself.
  16. It wouldn't tell her what the public transport service is like. She would experience trying to go to the Drs, or the dentist/post office etc. She wouldn't be able to have a drink in the cpt either.
  17. She doesn't have to live in ED, just somewhere in her constituency. Nor do I mean she should live around her so she can be 'seen' in the are. I think she, or any MP, does need to be around if they are going to do a good job representing the people that voted for them.
  18. I disagree Keef. I really think MPs should where possible, live in their consituencies. I know this isn't possible with most as they have to spend so much time in London, taking part in Parliamentary debates, scrutinising legislation and raising constiuency issues with Government.... Anyway, I see no reason why London MPs can't, in Tessa's case Westminster a stones throw away. It's just, well, bad form.
  19. In the interests of equality, maybe it could be a molly house on alternate days.
  20. Well, the Bishop isn't far off on a Saturday night. I'll mostly be missing having a cash machine on that side of the road (even if it does try its darndest not to actually bother with the cash element of its existence).
  21. Sounds like a plan macroban. My friend was telling me about this place the other day (having just been there). I'm happy to sus out the Gladstone and try it's $7 steak and beer deal :)
  22. Hmmm, looking at that, I'd say she's visited the Palmerston, the Bishop, the Balck Cherry and the EDT, good work that woman!
  23. Possibly, but I think most of the bars/pubs round LL have a pretty mixed clinetal, before and after refurbs. Maybe the this varries according to the time of day (the bloke you've described might not drink in the Bishop on a Friday evening), but I don't think so many people become exluded. If anyone suffers from a refurb, I imagine it's the trouble makers.
  24. No idea where class comes into this, or how one can claim bar A to be working class, bar B to be middle, and C, well, priced out of reach of us mere mortals I guess. The Castle have done up their backyard into a lovely beer garden (for us smokers really, but it a nice area for all).
