  1. Just checked the post office website and the opening hours have changed (not opening on Saturday) so maybe they are making adjustments.
  2. /forum/read.php?30,2105190 /forum/read.php?30,2105105 not sure why it's not allowed in the general section, it's the post office! not a restaurant. anyway i'm self employed and rely on the post office, i just went by and it's still closed, same sign. i would assume it's not coming back, but we shall see on monday.
  3. the reason there are so many threads is because it keeps getting moved to the business section, which is annoying and i don't really see why... Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Already two threads on this!
  4. Odd! I went at 11 and it said that. We will see tomorrow I suppose.
  5. The notice actually says "Sorry, this branch is temporarily closed. Due to unforeseen circumstances this branch is closed until further notice." Not sure where the technical issue bit came from? They have been known to close for the day before, so hopefully it's not permanent.
  6. I still have some availability over Christmas for catsitting - you can see my reviews and book me through here, or just send me a message and we can arrange something (it will be cheaper!) https://uk.catinaflat.com/pet_sitter/66339 I'm based on Lordship Lane high street and happy to catsit anywhere in walking distance! :) Please message me if you have any questions. Thanks, Michaela
  7. I'm sure if she didn't need to do it, she wouldn't. Only on EDF would someone be offended by a poor person stealing their trash. P.s. Shred/burn your paperwork. It's common sense.
  8. As long as they don't make a mess, I'm all for it. It's not stealing if you have thrown it away?! I put stuff outside (live by Lordship Lane/Townley) just so it's easier for them to take it to be honest...
  9. Officially going to be a Boots. Overheard the builders.
  10. Message and let me know if you've lost it :)
  11. I'm so happy to hear. As an owner of a tabby myself I got upset every time I saw that he was still missing. Sure he is happy to be home :)
  12. I sent parcels through Drop & Go on Wednesday morning, they were never sent, now holding my parcels hostage - great for my business! It doesn't help that the Post Office don't have a customer service number (yes, I have tried all of them!) Nightmare.
  13. Next time I post an Amazon link I'll be excused of being Jeff Bezos...
  14. I literally pressed the wrong button, calm down. I don't own Cook, wish I did I would be loaded (in fact, not overly keen on the place but would be better than Planet Organic which is full of fake healthy products and 'organic' produce shipped from the other side of the world) NewWave Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > budleigh Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > That would KILL our independent shops. 15. That would KILL our independent shops. We already have SMBS, Franklins & Organic Village, as well as bakeries, a fish monger, two cheese mongers, a butcher etc. Plus both of those chains are horrifically overpriced. If anything, perhaps a Cook would be a good option? Frozen ready made 'luxury' food, good for busy families etc. www.cookfood.net If it's a Costa, I will be appalled. At this point I'm hoping it's going to be a Nandos (which I'm not a fan of), just so we don't have junk coffee shops. 16. It has probably been put through a neighbours letterbox, so best check the couple doors beside you. Very frustrating when this happens! I got a 'delivered to a neighbour' message but it didn't specify what door...
  17. Get a microchip cat flap. Sorted! I doubt the owner would be able to change their cats behaviour.
  18. Boyfriend is on Vodafone and he always has coverage.
  19. I'm on Three and they claim it's excellent in the area (award winning blah blah) - it barely works for me. Most of lordship lane it doesn't work.
  20. Happy to have another charity shop personally. But yes, the prices have got a bit ridiculous! I don't go into Mind anymore, not great stuff but also everyone is horrible when you donate or shop there.
  21. I ordered this evening too, got the platter so we could try a few things. Burgers very good, kebabs are alright but not my favourite. I would definitely order a burger again! Disappointed I didn't try the churros now...!
