Hoorah the second EDF scrabble game has just taken place in The Black Cherry (TBC) with newbie floating onion and a veteran David MC (I'm only calling him a veteran as he won again he's not really that old). Very enjoyable game had by all

I've just thought of another that seems a bit odd as I grew up in Wales. It was called London Basically 1 person was IT. And had to face the wall and chant the letter L O N D O N - and shout London Turn around and catch any one who was moving. The others had to get from the start point upto where the person who was IT. Not one of the best coming to think of it now. Also choosing who was going to be IT was always a challenge.

I'm in the office today and myself and some colleagues have just finished a conversation on what playground games, we used to play at school. I just thought I would find out what games did people on the forum used to play at school. My favorite was Red Rover Rules were Each team started with an equal number of players in a long line Team A would Chant Red Rover, Red Rover we want NAME OF PLAYER on Team B over. That person would then that person would run and try and break though the barrier of arms. If they made it through the would go back to the team they came from, if they failed to break through then they would join the other side.

Okay I'm going to suggest The Black Cherry - 7:30 - Deluxe Scrabble Board with built in turntable unless more people say they are coming in which case it might have to be super scrabble again

Okay Thursday - I might have persuaded Tillietrotter to come along too so I make that 4 players so far. Which pub? How about the CPT, TBC, EDT, CH, TB at 8:30 or if people prefer a bit earlier

Great, I've made a suggestion to the fine staff at The Black Cherry that they should log on to the forum to enable me to order drinks and food without getting up.

I have a query from a friend who has recently tried to join the forum. Hernehiller - would like to join the forum, but is still waiting confirmation of the set up. He applied 2 weeks ago. Could you look into this as he seems think it's because he's from Herne Hill area, which I'm sure isn't the case, and he would like to change from a lurker to a poster
