  1. No. I think the fact that our media is clearly xenophobic would explain a lot more.
  2. I agree it wasn't done in a good way, if the speculation can be believed. I am pleased however, that finally our business is being done behind closed doors without snidey leaks to the press. It's worth mentioning that Benitez was treated in the same way and was in fact on holiday when it happened. I didn't notice any outrage then.
  3. Superb appointment. Almost as good at this one: http://assets.liverpoolfc.tv/uploads/assets/kenny2_4d29d6732b4da905346911.jpg Have looked like a Nick Park character since 11am Saturday morning.
  4. A fair result today would have been 10 against 10 and 0-0.
  5. It's true. The players are also versed about what happened at Hillsborough and not to speak to the Scum, etc. Matthew - meant to tell you. Have you got the 08/09 season review. When Yossi scores at Fulham, you're on it going mental.
  6. They've no excuses now Keef.
  7. 9,000 of us at Old Trafford tomorrow. 100% behind the team and the manager. No matter what the result - I cannot wait!
  8. Is that meant sarcastically? This is the best thing that could have happened. No matter what all fans will be behind him. There's been so much civil war it's been unreal. Unity will mean a lot.
  9. http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/hodgson-leaves-liverpool-fc KENNY'S BACK!!!!

Only just seen this. Ta for the offer, but I've my sensible head on tonight and I'm staying in.
  11. Does anyone else want to have a pop this afternoon?
  12. Can't win. Sorry Sean but no one has said that - simply saying if you haven't been at the games how can you comment about his reception.
  13. He was warmly welcomed at his first home game. Honestly, this is why you can't believe whats in the press. Were any of you at the game to make an honest judgement? I can tell you that his first EVER competitive match was against Rabotnicki in Macedonia, where his name was sung. But hey? What the f*ck do I know?
  14. Haha - jeez and you thought we haven't taken to Hodgson.
  15. I've agreed with a Manc supporter and Everton in the space of 10 mins. I think I need a lie down.
  16. Thats true. For once we have agreed on something.
  17. I find it quite patronising to be honest Keef. I wasn't happy with his appointment, but I always get behind the manager and the team, especially at the match. Hodgson should do the right thing and stand down. But no, he's a stubborn get who knows that if he's sacked he is in for a huge pay off. Just like he did at Blackburn. Changing the subject, for me a big club has been successful domestically and in Europe (not just once)* and has a global fanbase. Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcleona, Inter and AC Milan and also Liverpool would fit in to that category. *If not you'd be including the likes of Steau Bucharest, although they'd be classed a big club in Romania.
  18. Oh and cheers for the spoilt kid comment Keef. I think the spoilt kid "fans" were the one's that didn't appreciate Benitez by affording him one poor season.

The same journalist who doesn't want Allardyce at West Ham because he's Northern? Poor old Roy, lets feel sorry for him because he's a nice chap. Yeah, thats what supporting a football team is about. Sod the results on the pitch, he's a nice fella and he tries. I do also blame the players for some of their displays, but I seem to recall a new manager would lift them and steady the ship, especially as that nasty Spanish man was so horrible to them. The double standards here are hilarious.
  20. It said you'll never walk alone actually...... Y N W A!
  21. YNWA!
  22. My night is bad enough Mick. Please don't suggest that O'Neill comes within a mile of Anfield.
  23. I'd take Ancelotti.
  24. Here's hoping
  25. Doesn't Mr Ferguson not speak to the BBC because of some programme about his lad? Great how someone not being liked makes them a great manager, but in another breath a manager is a cunt for not putting their arm around a player. No double standards there.
