  1. I need these..... http://www.heels.com/images/ZLAM085_OUTTHUMB.jpghttp://www.heels.com/images/ZLAM085_HEELTHUMB.jpghttp://www.heels.com/images/ZLAM085_MAINTHUMB.jpg Love this shape of shoe, but just can't afford them at the moment. Season is almost over and I might have some spare cash next month.........:-S
  2. I'm an eighties child Honaloochie, so I'm afraid I haven't got the foggiest what you're on about.

  4. My Grandad (from Liverpool) met my Nan in Greece whilst serving in the British Army when Athens was under German occupation. So they most definitely did (fight in the war that is, not pinch tanks). Anyhoo, back to football. Yes, Pablo I will be giving Sami a big send off on Sunday. Gutted to see him go, he has been fantastic for us but understand his reasons for leaving. Reckon he may well come back one day in a coaching capacity. As the rumour mill is well under way re transfers, heard a belter last night. A mate, who claims his mate works at Melwood reckons that Alonso is off to Real Madrid (might have been another club, but I'd had a few bevies) for ?18m. This would be a travesty and I for one will be absolutely gutted if he goes. The second part is that Silva is signing from Valencia and following the sale of Xabi and other "fringe" players, we'd have some half decent cash for a striker. You heard it here first. Liking the idea of Silva but gutted about Alonso if it's true. So (td) and (tu)
  5. Same Moos. I have about six pairs of heels under my desk.
  6. Agreed Sean. Just seen one with a nice skirt, opaque tights, green socks and bright white asics. Why? The girls I can half forgive as walking round in heels all day is murder. But I don't get why someone can't splash out on a pair of black pumps.
  7. Gym type trainers. But if i'm honest they all offend me.
  8. So very, very wrong.
  9. There's a fella who quite often sits in the same carriage of the train as me in the morning. I quite fancied him until I heard him speak and then it was a load of bile about Chelsea. :(
  10. Have seen that done. My dodgy mates thought it was hilarious.
  11. You're actually sat on our perch with us. I believe that when you knock someone off you surpass their record. We may also have spent a wedge on Keane but we had to sell to buy and that's the difference. Having a bit of luck helps and think we've missed out on that this season. Need to start converting those 0-0's in to late 1-0 wins.
  12. Ha ha. He's right though.
  13. Really like that song by Chris Cornell too.
  14. TSWLM
  15. I love the Castle. I got locked out the house a few months ago and as it's only a few doors down, me and a mate spent the afternoon in there boozing and playing pool. Only problem was, a JD and coke and a pint of Fosters was only ?3.60 so we left ever so slightly pissed.
  16. United haven't exactly had a tricky run to get to another final of the CL this season though have they? Villa real, Aalborg and Celtic (sorry MickMac) and then only winning two of the group stage games. At least it was a proper competition back in the day. One of the only times I wish I was older.
  17. Happy Birthday Miss Gooner.
  18. The long throw isn't the issue. It's the time wasting that goes with it. You're right, if the refs aren't going to do anything about then we're screwed. Doesn't mean we have to like it. Oh and re' supporting the big four. Some of us were born in those circumstances and it wasn't a choice. Hope that's okay.
  19. and there you have it. :(
  20. Don't be ridiculous. There's stil 45 mins to play. AND Fergie time.....
  21. I go to watch Liverpool, not the opposition. But when the opposition make a mockery (not Mockney) of the game, then I wouldn't be sad to see them relegated.
  22. I'm with Keef. It looks so bad it has to be good. Out on the 26th, will buy it and watch that rather than the CL final the next day. >:D<
  23. Ha ha - had forgotten about the long grass. You going on Sunday Matthew?
  24. So when a player ambles from the furthest corner of the pitch to take a thrown in (30 seconds), then proceeds to be passed a towel and thoroughly dry the ball (another 30 seconds), the whole while steadily edging down the side line to gain an advantage and the finally throws the ball in to play (perhaps another 20 seconds), do you honestly think that a) that's fair to the opposition and b) what football is about? I reckon Delap probably did that at least 12 times when we played them at the Britannia this season. That puts the ball out of play for about 16 minutes. Great for the game that is.......... Fair play to the likes of WBA and Hull for trying to play a game of football. I know all teams can time waste, but that really is quite ridiculous.
