  1. Agree 100% with Atila and that is based on having wasted 180 mins of my life (in the freezing cold) watching Liverpool play Stoke this season. Such negative, time wasting football. Don't even get me started on Delap and that towel.

  3. Detroit Spinners Working My Way Back To You A week later and it would have been Blondie. Far cooler, oh well.......
  4. I heard Hamleys.
  5. No. Men should be hairy. Close the thread.
  6. Bollocks, bollocks, bollocks. Even though I knew they wouldn't slip up, part of me believed they might. Has been an amazing season though.
  7. Why do women always whinge about this stuff rather than just going out and getting on with it?
  8. He's not schloppy.
  9. Not even if hell froze over Sandperson. I think that Drogba and Ballack's behaviour last night was absolutely shocking and they should definitely be punished. Whilst I can empathise with how they must have felt (as there were several poor decisions that went for and against them), that was not sporting conduct and was quite frankly attrocious. I don't think Chelsea FC have helped themselves today either by condoning their actions. Had Hiddink have admitted it was unacceptable, but was in the heat of the moment and that they were sorry, then perhaps people might be a little more understanding.
  10. Sorry, but had Drogba not have been such a dirty player in the past he may have got a penalty tonight. But to coin a phrase "he's a disgrace". Come on Barca - what a night! What the hell was Ballack on too? http://i40.tinypic.com/312e1sl.gif
  11. The thing is (and this isn't about being a better fan, etc etc), when you go every week and travel however many thousand miles to watch your club over a season, you are going to be a slight bit more passionate than your average person who goes once or twice in that same season. I don't like United or Everton. United because of the rivalry between us and also the whole Liverpool/Manchester thing and also we're the two biggest clubs in the country so that comes with the territory. It really started for me in that 96 FA Cup final. :(
  12. Thats often sung red devil, but it's not about one particular team. Chelsea were in Barca last week, singing the song they were singing at us at Anfield. At Spurs I've often the heard the Adebayor song when we've been playing them, or "**-0 and you fvcked it up" from when the played Arsenal the week before. From Old Trafford "Are you watching Merseyside?". We generally don't do that and tend to sing about our players. Was thinking about this the other day and I reckon there's a song for nearly every first team player. Some bloody good ones too, but of course I'm biased.
  13. You have to admit though that Liverpool are one of the only teams who tend not to sing about teams/players they're not playing.
  14. He's also a Scouser. ;-) (Not that I'm actually proud of that - have contemplated joining the facebook petition to get him de-scoused)
  15. Errr... :-$ Yeah, sorry about that. I did apologise at the time though (and I was encouraged). Don't really like to be smug as it does tend to bite you on the arse. Didn't really watch the game last night although I was praying for an Arsenal win. Hopefully they'll want some vengenance in the league.
  16. Ha ha. Thought Keef was having sleepless nights due to his new arrival.
  17. Ted Max - Was sent that yesterday and that has had me in stitches all morning. Have you seen these ones? Love that Yossi is oblivious to it all. Thank god for the kid with the programme. http://i39.tinypic.com/w7xzc7.gif http://i44.tinypic.com/k39k74.gif
  18. ..........Rush is all you need. (tu) (PST is one of my favourites)
  19. Made that did you rd? (love the Beatles caption you've put with it - you're more scouse than you realise).
  20. Lard, I wish you'd come in here more often.
  21. Hmmm. Have to agree with the Manc support on this one. There's a saying in Liverpool "We're not English, we're Scouse", which is down to football but also because a lot of liverpool folk feel let down by how they've been outcast by the rest of the country. Whether you get it or not, football is like a religion up there and it's club over country every time. Actually feels quite hypocritical cheering on Ferdinand when he's wearing an England shirt and I just can't get in to it. One thing that you will rarely ever see at Anfield is a St George's cross with "Bootle reds" or whatever, across the middle. However I have often noticed them at Old Trafford or with the united travelling support. On the other side I also agree with Atila in the sense that whatever Ronaldo did against England it was also to a team mate and I found that all a little peculiar. If the above makes no sense, it's because i'm a bit drunk and therefore i'm sorry. PS - red devil, you go from one end of the spectrum to the other there with Miss Ellison. Funny though.

    Touting

I saw the "touted" Chelsea tickets and told the seller my views. Not sure it went anywhere. In hindsight, I should have reported it, but assumed that it would have already been seen bY the powers that be.
  23. Merseyside, not Lancashire red devil and leopard print doesn't really suit me. ;-) My Mum's a scouser and she has almost lost her accent but when she's home it's really noticeable. I know I've picked up bits from her which you wouldn't really notice down here, but when I'm in Liverpool I tend to slip in to it. Especially when singing on the Kop. Ha ha. :-S
  24. I'm really not trying to stir things up here, but I have always wondered if you're from Manchester red devil and if not why you support United? It is sincerely a genuine question. Those who have met me know I don't have a Scouse accent, so I'd be hypocritical if I were to say anything. Didn't watch the game last night, but by all accounts United should have won by 2 or 3.
  25. What Lard said. When Roman is fed up, they'll slip back in to insignificance. Have had a couple of unpleasant experiences with some of their fans, which has tarnised them for me.
