This was not my intention. I'm sure there are many people like myself and some of the posters who go through a dilemma over vaccines, I chose not to, at the same time knowing a little about herbs for both prevention and cure. As has been stated earlier if people believe there children are protected from these diseases when vaccinated why would unvaccinated children be a threat. The decision I made was not taken lightly and whatever peoples decision I respect, it is not easy to be responsible but we take it when we decide.

josieb, thanks for your support, you are absolutely right about peoples attitudes on this forum, it's not just in the family section. I don't let it bother me as when you look at how many people read it, I'm sure there are people who would not want to argue with attitudes, like you have quoted above. There are global protests against vaccinations, shame most posters on here would rather pick up on a website I googled, than look for information independantly. I have, like you researched info from both sides for many years, I can understand and respect others choices, but my biggest concern is the choice will be taken away. There are many people worried about this especially around the swine flu. This does involve the goverment, which has brought many people, (protest october, houses of parliament), don't have the time to research any websites I may put up.

Espelli, I believe at school they should vaccinate at the end of a term, then children who are not being vaccinated would not be in so close contact after, with children vaccinated who may be infectious. I believe drugs should be legalised, I do believe if this was to be the case it would decriminalise many addicts, also crime would be reduced significantly. Yes I do believe, even if people are still addicted that they would be the best people for the job. The people I know who work with addicts are genuine, good people, fighting for funding and although there is job satisfaction often they feel its a losing battle. I think the stereo typical judgement has filtered through over the years, where young people associate drug addiction with bad behaviour, which makes it easy to behave in this way if they themselves become addicted. I believe stealing from your family, etc, is an excuse used by addicts, because society associates this behaviour with addiction, especially drugs. Legislation would take away this excuse, and no huguenot I am not after any power, but I believe in giving the power back to people, to make decisions for themselves.
