Please could I put some requests in?? Could there be more comfortable seats please - the chairs appear to have been discarded from an old church hall, possibly for being too uncomfortable. Also, it is incredibly dark in the large seating area on the sides away from the TV - it isn't atmospheric because it feels like someone is trying to save money by not turning on lights. There are only 2 tables where is possible to read a paper which is irritating if you have popped in late afternoon/early evening on a Sunday with the express purpose of reading the paper whilst enjoying a nice glass of wine. Finally, it's often unpleasantly cold. People are cold so they sit as close as possible to the fire (when it is lit which isn't that often) which means that hardly any heat gets into the room and the radiators never seem to be on. Sorry to grumble - I love the ONH and think it is a great local but I think these minor details stop it from being a really fantastic local. Good luck!
