  1. If Zouma has come out and said he is ''a good Muslim'' then I'd take ST's comment as being ironic in intention and understand why he posted that. However, if Zouma hasn't said that, then, rightly or wrongly, it does read as a general pop at Muslims per se. I'm sure ST will want to clear up any confusion...
  2. Hard to get a plumber these days since Brexit, even to fix a leaky tap. Drip....Drip....Drip...Tinselgate... Cummings reckons ''there's waaaaay better pics than that floating around, incl in the flat''
  3. If I had seen any one of you call out DR for some of his disgusting, personal comments above...then I might be able to take this thread a bit more seriously when you have a go at people like keano.... I agree Cat, saying keano watches GB News was beyond the pale, please accept my wholehearted apology...
  4. Very surprised to see that he was picked to play for West Ham last night, bad optics for the club and manager. Police don't appear to be investigating but hopefully the RSPCA are and will remove all animals and seek a prosecution...
  5. Keano, don't flatter yourself, none of your comments has ever 'upset' me, but I will happily give short shrift to you, and anyone else for that matter, who is beyond sensible debate. I mean, what planet is someone living on who questions that the whole Starmer incident might have been staged? That's wacko territory and I've no problem calling you out for what you are. The sell by date for reasonable debate with you passed a long time ago...
  6. Apparently it's very much a demotion from being Leader of the House, which must stick in Moggy's craw after all the recent defending the indefensible he's been doing lately for Johnson...
  7. Panic over boys and girls, Jacob Rees-Mogg has just been made Minister for Brexit Opportunities. It was a close call between that and Minister for Making Cups of Tea as to which portfolio offered the most scope for a politician of JRM's standing...
  8. And if I remember correctly, after the Westminster banning he headed up to Manchester and promptly got spotted and chased out of town by Wrexham fans up for a friendly match...:)
  9. JohnL Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The thing is the names of these guys are doing the > rounds - yet they are not being dealt with by just > banning them from central london and then jailing > them if they come back. I don't know if it's the same grifters, but one of the main ringleaders during the pro-Brexit/Trump crowd that harassed MPs like Anna Soubry, was banned for a while, but that must've been about 3-4 years ago so presume they have been free to return for sometime...
  10. I've already explained there's a big difference between online name-calling and in-person intimidation/harassment. Keep up...
  11. Sorry keano, you're a jokester of a poster, pissed-up on Koolaid and long gone down the rabbit hole. Do everyone a favour and go back to masturbating into your sock while watching GB News...
  12. Not often I agree with Dan Hodges... I think people are missing the point this morning. It's not that the crazy extremists heard what Boris was saying, then decided to copy him. It's that the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom heard what the crazy extremists were saying, and decided to copy them.

  14. ?What?s wrong with people? Being called names goes with the territory of being a politician.? Jo Cox was 'called names' before she was stabbed to death. There's a big difference between name calling, say on an online forum like this, or even shouting something from a passing car, than the organised and concerted harassment, abuse, and personal insults we saw aimed at Starmer, which also included someone carrying a noose. I'm sorry, but none of that is acceptable in a civilised society, where everyone, including MPs, has the right to walk down a public street without fear of such harassment. By all means protest but do it peacefully and without intimidation and harassment. Goodness knows what would've happened if the police hadn't been there. And all that apologists for such behaviour like you can do, is question whether it was a 'mob' or not. As Jo Cox found out, it only takes one 'nutter'. But hey, you're an apologist for Trump and the Capitol siege, so I guess this is small fry to you, big man...
  15. Just bumping this up prior to the mid-week games starting tonight...
  16. Most people will be affected, some more than others. I don't see anything wrong with those who are fortunate to absorb the costs, showing concern for the rises. Estimated that 4 million, up from 2m, will now go into fuel poverty. Not a good look for one of the richest nations in the world...
  17. At this rate could be dusting down Kool & the Gang's ''Celebration'' for the Going Home thread tomorrow... Confirmed - Dan Rosenfield is leaving Number 10, understood he resigned this morning
