I wouldn't worry. Despite my various protestations and "toy-lobbing out of the pram" episodes over the years, I have found them to be (generally) fair.
  2. HA HA HA! Nice one Sandperson! As an aside, has anyone actually any proof that Crane-face is Atila?
  3. This happened to me a few years ago as I was cycling (straight ahead) on Lordship Lane. Lady in MPV on school run did just that without indicating left. I sustained a fractured hip. I think that buses and lorries are getting better in this respect though.

Ah good! Yes Admin. are lovely (except when they shut down the forum with relatively little notice and remove my posts, of course);-). And I love your blog (as though you didn't know it) - am just about to read your latest contribution in fact...
  5. No-one bothers anymore? That's not my experience. As a cyclist I don't think I would be here if that were the case. Sure, you get the odd fool who doesn't indicate (and I actually paid the cost of such behaviour when I got knocked off my bike as a direct result a few years ago), but then you also get the odd fool who ignores other areas of highway safety.

LB, I am curious. Has anyone complained?
  7. Ooops...sorry Jeremy.
  8. > * schedules font-size-limitation-module for next > forum upgrade * Fine - just make sure you give us adequate notice!:))
  9. Obviously doesn't do what it says on the tin then!:))

These questions have probably > occurred to most people at some point, and it's > better that you ask the questions than pretend to > know the answers. I think that is one of your best posts to date Jeremy! I whole-heartedly agree. Except: where has anyone suggested that minkturtle sounds stupid?
  11. *gives Crane-face some Red Bull*
  12. *lobs bog roll at Crane-face and legs it*
  13. Why didn't you tell me before I went away? I could have planned my holidays around the upgrades!!!:))
  14. > Phew. Still unbeaten... I know...I got a bit worried last night when Man. U were 2 down some 70 mins. into the game LOL. But we should never lose faith.
  15. "Out of Focus" doesn't look anything like that! Sorry - couldn't resist!
  16. > Fergusons face, at any time, cannot be described > as a "joy to behold" nor can Wengers, unless you > have a perverted sense of beauty. OK, I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that. Not a good picture, but come on...just look at that child-like joy upon the man's face! (You need to scroll to very near the end). As for Wengers, I didn't see the match with Ipswich, but I'd be very surprised if, he too, didn't return home with a big fat grin on his face.
  17. BTW, wasn't Sir Alex's face following Man. U's 3rd goal simply a joy to behold! Happiness in its purest form.
  18. Well, to counter the "same old shit", I would just like to SHOUT! Yesterday: Dulwich Hamlets v Romford (cup tie): 2 - 1 to DH Man U v Blackpool: 3 - 2 to Man. U. I watched both of those matches simultaneously last night (DH at home and Man. U in the DH bar!). Both my teams won. Am I a happy bunny? Do bears crap in the woods? Same old shit?:))
  19. Have you considered getting a bike? I live close to the DKH Sainsburys and it takes me around 18 minutes to cycle into London Bridge (including parking). I have, on occasion walked to LB (e.g. when too windy or icy): took nearly an hour.
  20. > (SeanMac has a point, in that some supermarket > items are overpriced in comparison with local > shops) Yes, he does. As does Narnia, in that some local shops' items are (to some) offputtingly priced compared with their corresponding supermarket equivalents.
  21. If cost is of the utmost importance, then I guess the obvious thing to do is to vote with your wallet. I.e. buy the rice milk at Sainsburys and that lovely fat bunch of fragrant parsley from the "Turkish shop" e.g. That's what I do (except that I grow my own parlsey). Inconvenient perhaps for some - but that's the trade off.
  22. Awww... A question, Admin. Have all the "packages" now been "upgraded"? I note that, back in November, you had "only upgraded 120 of the packages", thus implying that many more required upgrade. I guess what I am really trying to say here is, is this it now (for a while at least)?
  23. There's a match beforehand Weegee. Tempted?
  24. I'll do my best AK. You go ahead and enjoy yourself whilst I fight on your behalf.;-) BTW I omitted to tell you that your homebaked cookies were delish. And your homegrown peaches sublime.
  25. Hmmmm, I recall someone predicting the self-destruction of our capitalist economy on another thread (within decades too)! *chuckles quietly*
