  7. Brew your own beer and wine. You'll save money and you'll save on housing costs when you spend six months in rehab paid for by the NHS .

  10. I dont know what to suggest , apart from reporting them. My guess is they wont hold on to it for long. Thank god for you, womanofdulwich! :)
  11. Experience tells that it is the beginning not a one off . Hopefully they'll realise they cant cope with it and pass the dog onto somewhere that can.
  12. Poor little thing. Im not sure. I love dogs and i wouldnt do it. My neighbours daughter has left her large dogs in the garden all day whilst she visits.. i feel very sorry for the dogs .

  17. Aww, how great is that! Thank god for people like Neil . The people saying, that to grit everywhere is expecting too much, obviously werent out in it and didnt have their lives seriously put at risk .
  18. For me, giving up had nothing to do with having kids, shamefully . Amongst other things, it was when i was waking up with no feeling in my hands and feet or bad 'pins and needles' in hands and feet, i knew circulation was affected. Some people can smoke forever and it not affect them, i werent one of them, otherwise id still be smoking because i did enjoy it .

Smoked for around 16 years 20-40 cigs a day :-$:-S
  20. or give me a fag..
  21. As an ex-smoker i love the smell of cigarettes and will often follow someone along the road who is smoking, ahh if only i could have a marlboro light
  22. This sometimes happens where I am on Friern Road. Immediately next door and opposite are never affected . The last time was about 2 weeks ago. Power went off at 1am and came back on 9.30am . Enough time for all the food in the freezer to defrost . So had to be eaten . If I hadnt have been in i'd have been none the wiser and then eaten re-freezed food . Is this safe ?
