  1. Sorry, I'm sure its great for boys too:-$ My little princess has a white one and has decorated it with pink fluffly fairy lights, so it looks very much like a little princess bed!
  2. My daughter had her BCG when she was about two months old.She is six now and I don't remember it being more traumatic than any of the others, just glad that she won't have to go through the punches in the arm that i endured at the age of thirteen. She has a small scar, and was actually asking me about it today, she's pretty proud of it! Looks a lot better than mine.
  3. Hi. My daughter has the minnen bed. Its really good and not at all squeaky, as it has wooden slats. I've had it for a couple of years now and just reccently had to extend it as she's six now and has grown loads in the last few months. There is one big mattress bit and two smaller sections that you add as you extend the bed. I've just stored these under the bed. The mattress is really comfy too. It is ideal for girls as it looks very pretty and my daughter calls it her princess bed. I think its a good investment as it will last for years.
  4. Yes, my friend went to open his car (golf) when in sainsbury's car park, and only once he was in the car realised he was in the wrong one. It was far too clean to be his. But shocking that he could open another car with his keys.
  5. William Rose on East Dulwich grove had a sign up a while back that there would be filming in there for come dine with me. I thought it might be on this episode, unless they deleted it. Dissapointed didn't see many landmarks to show it was dulwich or even south london.
  6. That clown site is hilarious. Didn't know clowns had their own forum. Brilliant!
  7. I take my daughter to gm's on melbourne grove. She loves it as they give all kids a muffin and some juice. There very friendly and there is often a lot of kids there (after school). She looks forward to having her hair cut as she knows she'll get a treat!
  8. Thanks guys. Feel a lot better now. Hopefully see you all at the next event. Looks like your all having a good time!
  9. Hi, I just joined edf a while ago. I would love to go to one of the drinks nights, but not sure if I'd have the bottle to turn up to a pub not knowing anyone. Also I wouldn't recognise any of you so would probably end up approaching a different group with them wondering who the nutter is. What was it like when you first went? I have visions of doing what charliecharlie did - hover for a bit and then leave.
  10. I would love to leave the men to do the bbq. However a few years ago when I threw a surprise bash for my ex (you'll soon realise why he is now my ex). I had the bbq all going, I'm pretty good, if I say so myself, asked him and his mate to go for more charcoal, two hours later when the bbq was dead he returned. Spent the whole time in the pub. Never again will I go to all that trouble, so men the reason why you think your so good at bbq's, is because us women let you think you are. Bit like what you do with washing up, always do crap job so you don't get asked again.
  11. Sitting in the garden with a few beers, began to question how many i'd had when people started dropping from the sky. Then my cousin and I cheered them on and hoped the one that came down really fast was going to make it. Seemed really sureal.
  12. I was walking a dog by hamlets fc just a while after it happened. Police said, they dupmed the car there. I saw it being towed. They ran over the astro turf up the lane back of sainsburys, that leads to denmark hill. They must have known the area very well to know that path. anyway they found the money, but the culprit escaped!?! Maybe they caught them since. But they could have gone anywhere from that path.
  13. This sound great. I've been worrying about how to entertain my five year old girl in the summer holidays. Let us know when and where and I'll be there. Great idea!!

Boring subject, I know. But anyone got any tips and advice on sorting out my lawn. Some of it looks great. All green and lush, but then there are bits that are all patchy. I've tried before to put more grass seed over the patches, but nothing happend. Any help please!
