    The Swiss...

Can we all agree that the Swiss likes to sit on the fence , as for H point of view my old man relative who are Jewish have said something along those lines as many of his family perished in WW11
  4. Yuk!! I don't cook them but I love Bob Suggestion :)
  5. I am not convinced that he was as white as snow, what happen to his nephews who murdered them? if he did not physically kill them I think he knew about it. As for his relatives who think that Richard 111 was demonised by Shakespeare may have point. But the fact remains there are unanswered question about this point in history. I also find relatives of infamous people always try to justify their relatives behaviour i.e.???.. Captain Blythe as an example.
  6. I always fine Dulwich Hospital very good, the waiting is better than kings strange systems they have there.
  7. West Norwood is Preferable.
  8. This happen to me yesterday as I left home for work, I told this odd looking man outside my front garden move the dog which look like a dish rag or I will, he sheepishly moved on.
  9. Yet another promise he will not deliver on, just a scam to get back in.
  10. he or she needs to a life
  11. I agree Otta I am sure most of us started, our jobs that way at some point in life but the problem is the pay is very low and that means you will have to depend on benefits to help with the short fall so it becomes a vicious circle . Maybe if employers pay a living wage rather than a minimum wage it might get more people out of the poverty trap.
  12. Spot on Reddulwich it?s funny how no one else see this. I find when talking to people about this subject it seems to be people who has never experience being unemployed or on benefits are the one who have the most negative opinions on this. Thanks to the Tories blame everything on the poor.
  13. I agree with Cora I don?t have a problem with posters as long as it taken down after the event. There more pressing things in life then worrying about a poster.
  14. Very sad to hear this.
  15. Nothing wrong in being frugal, that is the way I was raised and it has served me well. Too much of a throwaway society I am actually holding a class at work in how to make an old T-shirt into a shopping bag.
  16. I agree with DJKQ on every point those who are not in need, do not really understand what is actually like. There are Just repeating the coalition stance on this there far more people in work on benefits then there are scroungers but the government are treated them the same way. Back to the point of a fat tax which is outrageous and unfair to pick on a section of society.
  17. Yes you have point Labour did not do such a great job but it is the Tories are in power not matter anyone says. Pull the ladder up jack let the plebs it cake.
  18. I agree with all your post, it is another stick to beat the poorest in society. I am getting fed up of the Tories continually doing this so they can divide and conquer so that the public will concentrate on pointing the finger while the real agenda is put in place. I feel that the riots that happen in summer 2010 will be nothing compare to what will happen if they keep eroding the people.
  19. Westminster Council?s plan to improve local health by withholding benefits from residents who fail to lose weight. Should the council interfere with residents life. I think if a captain of a ship would like the crew to listen to him he/she should set an example there are plenty of overweight Westminster councilors.

    David Bowie...

ElPibe Wrote ------------------------------------------- Any and all of Bowie's achievements and kudos were wiped off the face of the earth by Dancing in the Street I'm afraid. To be fair that was a charity song he did with old Mickey, and how many pop stars have lasted the distance and are respected. I am looking forwared to see his exhibition at the V & A in February
  21. If you have any issues with Nick Clegg I am sure you can put it to him, he is now on the radio on LBC every Thursday morning at 9am answering any question in reagrds to the coalition policies :)

    David Bowie...

Love David Bowie good old Brixton boy, one the first creative glam rockers followed by Toyah and all the others like Lady Gaga who copies him:)
  23. More of the 40s spirit make do and mend, as the cost of living rises more people have to be more frugal in what they spend.
  24. Huguenot Said -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The thing I'd most worried about is mugging. The secondary issue is spoiling her. 15 year old girls are soft targets, and a ?600 phone will be admired and envied by friends and enemies alike. There are plenty of things I want, and I have to budget, make sacrifices and wait, by which time I usually realise I didn't want them that bad. How will she learn these lessons? H is spot on I agree with his comments, also a child needs to know the value of money and how hard you have to work for it. I was in the same situation a year ago with my daughter who 17 she had to wait until I can afford it. She did do a few odd jobs to pay towards the phone which I was pleased. I found a great deal on EBay it was a refurbished IPhone 4 unlocked it cost me ?240 and it is still in good condition after a year. Maybe it worth having a look on EBay if you don't want to fork out ?600for Iphone.
  25. the-e-dealer said ----------------------------- Yes Like Nick Griffin! What do you mean the-e-dealer I Wouldn?t say Nick Griffin is eccentric at all. Just a plan out right Oswald Mosley wana be.
