  1. I chanced parking one night on a little side street in Peckham a few years back, and got a ticket at 1:45AM. I should not have of course, but it still left me in no doubt as to the spirit under which Southwark are, or certainly were, operating. It just seems soooo wrong to me that it is worth someones while to hide in the shadows of dark, nasty little streets all night.
  2. Lol. Mid 30's, and still got a good haircut and nice teeth.
  3. I for one, feel this talk of it being a frightening or scary place is a bit OTT. Both myself and Miss. Argi use it everyday, and she's never asked me to pick her up late at night etc. I've never offered either :-) . Besides, there are cameras everywhere. Yes, it is filthy, but that applies to most of London. When did you last see the pavement being hosed down anywhere in this city?
  4. Could not agree more - overpriced + snotty staff + crap food IMHO.
  5. You winkle, you put the roach in the wrong end
  6. Lurkers hang around schools. (Just to take it down a notch)
  7. French too.. http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZlcUqrGMoLA
  8. Mark I've a had a N95 for a month or more now and find it ok - it does everything - yes, it does have wifi and you can use skype/msn etc. using a third party app. called fring .The Symbian user interface is also very slick and intuitive in my opinion. (In the same way that OSX is slick compared to Windows >:D< ) As is the fate of many/most gadgets I suspect, it quickly fell into disuse after some initial days of honeymoon following purchase. Despite having almost laptop-like functionality, it is, for me, just too small, and without a full keyboard like a 'Berry, slightly impractical to use for more than an odd google/email when you just must. Great bleeding-edge convergence gadget if you possess the nerd gene. I just feel like a bit of a dick carrying all that technology around with practically no need of any of it:))
  9. Best local comedy by far is a journey on the 78 bus - sit at the back and watch. It?s hilarious :-)
  10. "But I don't want to see them dead either." Lol Nero - made me think of this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2H6DSoqZz_s
  11. Anyone noticed the ever so tropical looking green parrots in Peckham Rye Park? I was suprised at first, but later learned the RSPB now recognise them as a permanent resident species in parts of southern england.
