I will however, look up more on Brierley when I get back as I'd thought that Brierley was just for home birth? Are they private or something?

Hi all I've read with interest some of the previous threads about which GPs are best for antenatal care and which hospitals are best (it will be my first baby so I'd definitely rather have it in hospital rather than at home). My GP is at The Gardens who seems nice and has told me that I need to choose over the next few weeks between St Thomas and Kings so that she can book me in for the 12wk scan. It being my first, I'm keeping everything crossed for things to stay healthy over the next few weeks and am keen to book my scan in ASAP :) I'm pretty much decided on Kings because it's so close to my house (I live near ED station) I *think* that once I have my 12 wk scan I can continue to have antenatal care at Kings or they do offer care at The Gardens too. I'm not necessarily after advice about my decision of doctors/hospital, but more interestsed to hear opinions of others who used the same combination (Gardens/Kings) and what they did for antenatal care. Any advice gladly welcome! Thanks!

my o/h actually discovered a sneaky new way to CJ - check it out on the nationalrail.co.ku site, but basically you get the train from ED to either streatham common or tulse hill, then change platforms and get a train back towards central london and jump off at CJ. Takes 32 mins or sthg v similar and although it costs ?1 more than the bus it is ten times more reliable!

ah this is a thread i've been meaning to start for ages! I live on Ondine Road and every single frigging morning wake up to a new poo deposit in my front garden. I can't work out if it's the cat next door or a fox, any tips on how to tell? I've tried anti-fox powder stuff from the garden centre, bleach, chilli seeds, rose thorns and the b*****d thing is still intent on fouling my garden. i will now try vinegar too!

am stood outside apartments 22-30 hayes grove and on the far left drainpipe at the top there's a small squirrel which is stuck! and sqweaking a lot! i don't know if its anyone fancies rescuing it, butthey'll need a v long ladder (20ft?) and a good way with animals! god knows how it got there, poor little thing!

i just moved to ondine road about 3 months ago and am really happy there! i was also a little worried as moved from a v v safe bit of clapham, but am absolutely loving it. have had no hassles at all (tho admittedly if its after 10 i would prob take a taxi from peckham rye station) and i just love the way this area is a real mix of people (after all the hoorah henrys of clapham with their generic ysl polo tops tucked into chinos :)) Neighbours are particularly lovely and helpful. Gowlett serves a good pint and amazing pizza. Enjoy!

Hello! Finally moving to East Dulwich tmrw - v excited! TO celebrate we'll be having the traditional champers and fish&chips once the removal men are out the way - where's the best place to go? Our new place is just behind Goose Green, the nearest places I've seen so far are Klassy and Sea Cow....
