St Anthony's and certificate of catholic practice
LondonFermentation replied to gmaju's topic in The Family Room Discussion
For reception you'll need to be known to the priest at St Thomas More by attending weekly otherwise he won't sign the supplemental form that goes along with your entry to say you attend church regularly, at least that's how it was done when we attended there in 2013. Unsure about the admission process for nursery. Worth bearing in mind the school has a bigger catchment than other local schools as they accept applicants from a few different Catholic schools in the neighbourhood/borough. -

Calling all hot sauce enthusiasts for a fermented chilli sauce workshop in South London. This is a raw vegan recipe without any need for preservatives, E numbers or sugar that you commonly find in lots of the well-known chilli sauces. As it’s fermented, it’s got all the gut-boosting probiotic benefits too. We’ll use a basic hot sauce recipe but there will be a variety of chillis to experiment with so you can make it as mild or as hot as you like. We’ll also sample various fermented hot sauces. Our bodies love foods packed with healthy probiotics—good bacteria—another way to boost our gut health. Fermented foods are incredibly rich in probiotics. These good bacteria improve digestion and boost immunity too. Full instructions will be given on how to ferment the hot sauce at home. There's an enclosed area in Crystal Palace park where I used to take my rescue dog for a runaround. Not too far from the car park and tennis courts. -

Thanks for all the tips. I don't drink anymore so am very rarely in pubs but it's good to know where I can take him with me when I'm doing errands. He is usually fine tied up outside a shop for a short while anyway. Once he's used to staying home alone, I won't need to take him everywhere with me. As he's a rescue racing dog, he's glued to my side as he's convinced I'll leave him and not come back.

Reviving an old thread as I couldn't find a newer one and have recently acquired a dog. I'm looking for somewhere local for a work lunch but generally would be good to know what establishments since this thread was originally posted are OK with dogs. Franklins looks like a yes, what about the Palmerston which has changed management/ownership? Thanks in advance for doggy intel! Pic of the new (old) doggy...
