  1. Come and join the friends of the park for the 16th Annual Fete. Starts at 12 noon until 5pm. TOMORROW 7th. The children's fancy dress is at 1.30 - register from 12. It's Free and all entries get a prize. Enjoy the children's races: sack, egg & spoon, ALL FREE. Dog show from 2.30. On the common in front of the cafe! Lots of stalls, Tea and Cake tent, Books, Plants, Punch and Judy, Beer, Pimms and so much more. See you there for a great day out.

Enjoy a cup of tea/coffee with a wonderful slice of cake or treat yourself to a pimms, a local beer or cider, because you're worth it. Then when you are peckish, try a delicious bite to eat from one of the food stalls. Bring your bike along and get advice from Cycle works and the cycle awareness team. Find out the plans for Peckham, feel a bamboo sock, buy a book and a plant, explore and support the local traders. Then, when you have had a wonderful day, join the 'Friends of Peckham Rye Park' for a mere ?5 a year, to help support the Fete, the Community wildlife Garden and the beautiful Park that is Peckham Rye!!   7. Meet 11am at The Ivy House Community Pub, Stuart Road, on Sunday 1st of March. 'Public House?is a new feature length film by award winning artist and academic, Sarah Turner. Do you live or work near the Ivy House? Has it played a part in your life? Are you in a local community group? You are invited to take part in a simple filmed community event in Peckham Rye for the documentary feature film ?Public House?. There are more details below, but you can go straight here to sign up and let us know you are coming: public-house-mass-assembly.eventbrite.co.uk We?re especially encouraging community groups to attend and walk together. Friends, family, partners, children, dogs all very welcome! Bring a small compact mirror if you can.
