  1. I cant afford to shop in Somerfields with their rip offs in special offers.!
  2. I support the butchers and greengrocers wholeheartedly ,but there are other things that Waitrose provide that i prefer to the other local supermarkets

  4. Your property guy is right there is no suitable site , Somerfield probably has the biggest site in the Lane cant see any other site being large enough for a full size Waitrose .Maybe Foxtons at a push......
  5. NO I cant either but if you click on the bit of photo showing it will come up.
  6. Thanks for that info I didnt realise that, it was just that one of the park gardeners was telling me it hadn't gone to plan . Lets hope it will improve and will encourage the birds and insects its suppose to.
  7. There wasn't that many poppies to start with. The meadows are quite disappointing as the ground cover is very sparse and there are a lot of stones where there should be more grasses. A good effort and idea but not quite what was planned for .looks a bit scruffy.
  8. I cant see the problem of the schoolboys useing the park for sport its not as if they will be unsupervised .As long as they are and the teachers also respect our park then thats fine .Afterall thats what its there for ..for all the community and that includes schools.
  9. As a neighbour , well just a few hundred yards between us , I totally agree with Peckhamrose .I've also been here as long as P and feel very lucky to have such a wonderful green space 1 minute walk away .And as for the views.....
  10. Its a great cafe .its not "kids" it attracts but mums and their kids ! Oh and Dads and their kids. But I still think its a great addition to the park and long awaited.
  11. Its doggy but not dodgy ! No seriously its a lovely park .
