I rather like 'chains' coming to East Dulwich (Lounged)
Andyng replied to Curmudgeon's topic in The Lounge
If you were a shop landlord would you a) rent it to some grocers who might close down in a week b) get good rent from a chain on a long lease whos less likely to go bust. The rent will never be cheap enough for new indies I dont see landlords reducing rents so that they can please the people of Lordship lane with a organic coffee shop I know what I would choose if I were in those shoes. kford Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > ???? is on the money. Andyng replied to Curmudgeon's topic in The Lounge

Is your property on on the market with Foxtons Dulwich? (Lounged)
Andyng replied to maison_d'etre's topic in The Lounge
People may hate foxtons but If they sold your property for more money I very much doubt anyone on here would be complaining. In fact it would be the opposite. Although I have heard about there bad practices ,fees etc. -

A burglar would always go for the easiest option they would burgle a house without alarm than one that does.Get a huge alarm box outside your front door and that in itself should be a good enough deterrent. If my neighbours went off at night and it rand loud and long enough then of course ill see whats happening.

Did you have an alarm?
