I’m not sure the fault is with TfL, more so the utility companies that have poorly invested in their infrastructure for decades. Re temporary bus stops, I can’t see where they would put them around the Lordship Lane / Barry Rd junction without removing a significant amount of parking - tricky to do as a temporary measure.

Here we are again…perhaps if you email the councillor they could clarify? I suspect they meant the decision has been taken to proceed, subject to statutory consultation.

It’s related to major Thames Water works. Agree it’s massively impacting the bus services, and journey times also. Hopefully it will be over soon, but it seems it’s often a game of whac-a-mole with Thames Water locally.

I’ve simply offered a suggestion that if you want to know what the council is doing / what the councillor meant when he said ‘agreed’ your best course of action would be to ask the councillor. I’d suggest it would be more effective to ask your question to the councillor. Continuing to vent your frustration here doesn’t seem to be getting you anywhere.

FM has already confirmed that they haven’t asked the councillor. Seems they prefer to just rant here about not having the answer.

It doesn't seem to be suiting you though. You repeatedly ask what's happening next and sound very frustrated that you don't know. You could very easily get that answer from emailing your local councillor.

I’ve experienced the same in Herne Hill. It’s definitely linked to where there are already marked bays, it prevents you from parking within approx 200-400 metres around the bay. Dulwich Village has quite a few bays, which probably explains why you’ve noticed it there and not elsewhere. -

Pretty sure it’s the same everywhere in Southwark in that the area around a marked cycle parking bay is geofenced - presumably to encourage riders to use the bays. -
Spotted this at a bus stop. Badly parked cars can negatively impact so much on bus journeys. Hopefully the offending vehicle will be towed away soon.
