  1. Dear all, I am a concerned dog owner, I have a lovely, lively Cockapoo and after a morning stroll in the Rye, my dog has been having serious diarrhoea and has stopped eating and become very tired in her bed. I have taken her to the vet twice now and they have taken blood, but can't diagnose anything. I am concerned that she may have ingested something, and wondered if anyone else has had a similar experience. All advice greatly received. James.
  2. Cheers great suggestions. I am all over this and gonna get myself a board as well!
  3. How did this thread go so off topic.........? Fake Labour, new Conservative Labour politician Tony Blair amputating minority groups limbs for stealing affluent peoples lawnmowers.
  4. Dear EDF, Happy New Year! I am searching for skateboarding lessons for my 6 year old daughter. She is really into skateboarding, following the Olympics and has been really trying to get "GOOD" at it in Peckham Rye... I have been the teacher to date, but I think she would benefit from some tutoring at this stage. Either by a professional teacher or a late teen looking to earn some cash. Please DM me, smoke signal or shout it to respond.. Cheers BO.
  5. Got petrol next to Tesco near the Rye today, no queue... Petrol more expensive, but all good.
  6. We used Meaby and co, and they were brilliant. Chris Sarsfield is your man. SueJ Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Ed Chuck is brilliant > > Edward Chuck > Meaby & Co > [email protected] > 020 7703 5034
  7. Same thing happened to me, and I spoke with the London Wildlife Protection on 07909 795064. They advised me to store the bird in a shoebox, then they would collect. They said DO NOT CALL VETS, as they will destroy the bird. Eventually no one came, so I call again and UBER'd (at my expense) the bird to a pigeon sanctuary on Croydon. Bird was saved.
  8. When I lived in Streatham we had a huge problem with singing until 4am most evenings in the summer. Despite reporting it and knocking the on the door, nothing changed.....so I took to chucking eggs and a varied veggies over the three fences! Soon stopped.
  9. Good description of the Drum. It was like that, however I was only there for one pint, despite my Rocknrolla tag... The Old Cherry Tree was good, when the bar was in the middle. They used to show all of the hurlie and some hooky Palace games.....
  10. Notimpressed, you are hilarious! I look forward to having a Mocho-latte with you soon. I like the way you tried to hijack a very normal thread.
  11. The House of Tippler was good for late night boogie.......... I have not really ever liked the Bishop....can't put my finger on why?
  12. I remember the Drum, I used to get a cheeky Peroni whilst waiting for my Corner Cafe Thai meal....... Used to quite lively outside there on a Friday.
  13. Best pub in East Dulwich today, has to be The Great Exhibition or the Watson General Telegraph.
  14. Great news for a local business that has suffered during the pandemic.

  16. I can concur with Serena2012, I stopped by to have a chat with some of the crew, as they pointed out my dog looks like a pint of Guinness. I thought it was latest instalment of X Men - Bassono Garages edition, but no. It is Guinness..... No free pints, sadly.
  17. Could be related: /forum/read.php?5,2132823,2132833#msg-2132833 The Hansler Road fly tippers!
  18. JH plastering and Damp Services. Five star review, they came quickly, acted professionally and fully tanked our basement, including fixing the rotten stairs and cleaned up everything so that barely knew they were there. Price was competitive. Jack and his team are professional, responsive and reliable...
  19. I think it relates to the fact that the article is regarding a Friern Road resident who has been jailed for handbag theft after being traced by CCTV. Was this covered in your Whatsapp group? If not, why not? hirstian Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Why?
  20. Streatham Vale has a multitude of Polish shops. Two next to the Co-op and two near Streatham Common Station. There is also a Bulgarian Restaurant.
