  1. At least athlete?s foot is easily treatable.
  2. Please leave you sordid sexual practises out of this.
  3. I believe such dust now finds favour in certain circles for its, as yet unquantified, retro value.
  4. How does the ovoid manage with jus?
  5. I assure you that the good people a Royal Doulton did everything in their power to ensure that all points along the border of the plate are equidistant from its centre. Its potential as a vessel for jus has never been tested. And alas it seems it will remain untested, being as it is now covered in a film of engrained dust originating from the early 1980s. Dust which no doubt* flaked off the skin of punk rock anarchist as they metamorphosed into smarmy yuppies over the earlier years of that bemulleted decade. *Not to be confused with the Californian Ska band who found fame in the early 1990s because of their super hot singer.
  6. Look on the bright side. That?s an hour less you?ll have to spend in Peterborough.
  7. I'm quite sure I have no idea what you mean.

First Comedienne to come out with a decent knob gag about a hung parliament should win a place in the cabinet. Between the Wedgwood ashtray and the Royal Wedding commemorative plate.
  9. ?Yoh Dave!?
  10. Edited for my own personal safety.

Save me from ripping my hair out at the narrow minded, tribally stratified, idiocy based on outdated ideology that people insist on approaching politics with. Peckhamboy, Huguenot and MickyP summed up my thoughts less abrasively and more eloquently than I would have.
  12. Apologies Tony. We seem to have jacked your thread. mea culpa.
  13. We are talking about the guy who took our money and used it to fund the illegal invasion of a sovereign state consequently killing untold numbers of innocent people? That Tony Blair right?

Mick Mac Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I disagree with just about all of that Brendan - > so I will just copy my post from another thread I know and I understand your opinion completely. I just have a different take on things. Perhaps it has something to do with me being too young (and not even in the country) to practically have experienced real life in the country pre-Labour.
  15. I don't know but there is hope that in a couple of weeks we may start speaking about something else.
  16. After lying to us, sending us into an illegal/immoral war, eroding our liberties, arsefucking the economy into the stone-age through their laissez faire approach etc etc... It is only testament to the malevolence of the alternative that the Labour Party even got any votes at all. The only solace we have with this outcome is that despite the shower who won power a third party has managed to use its position to force some socially redeeming policy through.
  17. Me mate Dave. http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2009/8/25/1251200709541/Ali-G-stands-outside-10-D-007.jpg

I'm interested to know. I don?t think the problem is with wealth but in the deprivation and social problems that excessive discrepancy causes.
  19. Hermes, the messenger of the gods? Son of Zeus and father of Pan? Hermes of many shifts, blandly cunning, a robber, a cattle driver, a bringer of dreams, a watcher by night, a thief at the gates, one who was soon to show forth wonderful deeds among the deathless gods? That Hermes? Best give his scarf back.
  20. Well the answer would be that if you know you?re having a baby you shouldn?t go on tour then. But what team wouldn?t want a player like Shane Warne or Kevin Pietersen there for at least 3 out of five tests if possible. Trouble is when you let them do it then you have to let the Ashley Giles? of this world, who you could probably live without, do it to. Should the women?s team be given time off to give birth?

By appointment to the Royal Danish Court and drunk only by Danish Royals. Who seem to have been having a terrible time of it lately. What with being forced to live under a railway arch in Brixton and everything.

Tried to make the Gowlette on Friday but the Fates conspired against me. I?d say anyone who can remember what everyone drinks off the top of their head, ?2 port and lemon, 3 pints of Sussex Premium Dog Todger, a Campari and soda, 2 snakebite and absinth depth charges and a hot Bovril, in accordance with the prophecy, please barkeep.?
  24. Me reading comics in front of the inglenook, whilst swigging cognac straight from the decanter. It?s not that difficult to picture is it?

So it is written. So shall it be. And let it be known that a round shall not be ordered lest the utterance of the words, ?in accordance with the prophecy? succeeds such ordering.
