  10. As previous posts have shown, there are loads of ways of doing this journey and I suspect some will be better (or less bad) than others. Here are my ideas. - East Dulwich to Tulse Hill to Mitcham Junction then tram - 37 Bus to Herne hill then train to Mitcham Junction then tram - East Dulwich or Forest Hill / Honor Oak Park to West Croydon might be possible, but be warned that the tram is one way via West Croydon so it will be a longer journey on way out than back.
  11. I will answer this in two ways - once with my normal voice : I know this is a bit close to Dulwich for the Lounge, but the recently restored organ at Christ's Chapel is rather fine. http://www.stbarnabasdulwich.org/christ%27s%20chapel%20organ.htm And once with high pitched whine Private Eye is a great organ. The crossword often has clues with double entrendre about different meanings on organ.

Giles Gilbert Scott also designed Liverpool Cathedral and Batersea Power station. His father and grandfather were also architects and were both called George Gilbert Scott. The grandfather designed St Pancras Station, and many Gothic revival churches such as St Giles Camberwell (to bring us almost back home).
