  1. Does anybody know about the unofficial meeting tonight in Grove Vale? ETA. Thanks Admin for making this a sticky much appreciated.
  2. Fredrickets, fill in the online consultation form and go and sign the petition. The traders association also have a petition against this. Sillywoman, good work but you need to go into the CPZ zone also to get residents and shop keepers to sign this.
  3. ha ha not having a pop, just saying, tis all.
  4. gsirett and others are working hard to raise awareness of this flawed and unfair consultation. The councillors last night would not hardly take any questions with regard to this CPZ as they wish to take them in decision time in January. VERY UNFAIR. I was there at the meeting with many other local residents and traders and this is what happened. James and the gang are trying to push this through so dont hassle gsirett SJ, things are tough enough. Join your community Strafer.
  5. James barber says that CPZ increases your house value mwahhahahahhoahahahahhahahahahahaha..what a load of crock... if it comes in expect the area to drop further as the area will be less desirable.
  6. Admin, can we have a sticky for this please so that there is one thread discussion on this? More importantly though it seems there are only a few days left to get in petitions for this. Thanks in advance.
  7. It's because James is consulting the people nearer the station to make it easier to get in CPZ so they can raise funds as southwark has the biggest cuts in London. Where is the evidence that CPZ is needed? Only a few people have asked for parking control in the last few years. As i said on the other thread the petitions need to include people and businesses that are within CPZ as they carry the weight as TFL said last night but everyones views will be noted some with different weighting.
  8. Guys, the petition or door to door petition needs to be signed be people living INSIDE the cpz area for it really to have an effect. Get that petition in.
  9. guys, gsirett is spot on, you couldn't make this up. You cannot trust these guys, they could not answer many of the questions in a straight manor and infact when one trader from Grove Vale wanted to comment on the CPZ chair Lewis Robinson said quote " if this is about East Dulwich CPZ then i wont let you ask it". Foxtons write 'welcome to your area', councillor Barber and his buddies say 'goodbye to your area, goooodbyeeeeeee'... And to that one lady at the meeting who was FOR this CPZ all i can say to you is stop watching telly luv and get out there and speak to the locals.
  10. James Barber Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hi easy tiger, > I obtained and placed the posters in the two > community noticeboards. James, you are at the Dulwich Community Council meeting as you wrote that and so was I, at least i was not posting on the edf and i was paying attention. Amazing how you have left off the CPZ on Grove Vale and Lordship Lane current transport improvements programme. You guys really want to lose our votes. And for all the readers, I placed the posters in the Community noticeboards not James. Spin it James spin it. And leave our lollipop people alone..
  11. Posters have been put up in various shops on Lordship lane and Grove Vale bringing peoples attention to the proposal of the Grove Vale Controlled Parking Zone and also in the 2 community notice boards, ironically next to James barber's poster (please don't take them down james). Boards are on Northcross rd and by ED station. Southwark traders association also have posters going up clearly against the proposal and shall be in most shop windows soon. The evidence shown in favour of the CPZ is clearly not enough to bring in such a harsh measure. Please try and make sure all of your petitions are worded specifically to the Grove Vale CPZ proposal with spaces for names and addresses with post codes. Please keep them going and if you would like petitions to go into shops on LL pm me, BUT, please do not stop your petitioning expecting others to be doing this instead. cheers.
  12. El Grano is a house fave too though.;-)
  13. Markthedog, do you really talk like that? Should i be roaring?:)
  14. Mick Mac Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Well defended CC. Great counter attack. It was not an attack on CC anyhoo but i will try and keep up CC hee hee.
  15. Hello Mary and hello all. The data collection process and stats do seem to be odd. There have been several accidents with a car almost squashing a baby and people sitting outside of the Bish. To answer Rgutsell briefly as nobody else seems to be doing so, drivers must slow down anyway when approaching a roundabout no? A third crossing on that roundabout should come in usefull.
  16. At least it's different, a Brazilian bar serving sushi.
  17. Ralons stationers by the EDT is back up for sale. This would make a great location for an Italian restaurant, subject to planning of course. Lots of space inside.
  18. is Thai corner cafe' a curry house though??? When will that family open the authentic veggie Indian restaurant where Chopsticks is located?
  19. bbw, would you trust Cameron as prime minister?
  20. Perhaps traffic lights with a fast changeover time would be appropriate for this junction?
