Definitely an Italian!

I had been told they were closing for refurbishment but now suspect this could be where the new Italian will be. There are also plans for a restaurant on Peckham Rye where the old electricial shop was!

Well done to Monica and Marilyn for organising the fair. I am one of the co-organisers of the Festival Fair in May and know how hard it is to do, particularly as a volunteer. I really hope you do organise another next year!

Jo Jo is opening at 6 Lordship Lane for definite, not next to the White Stuff.

No they don't, they moved it to 5.30 a while ago. I have struggled to find one that is as late as that in the area.

We watched the rugby upstairs at the Mag and it was brilliant. Got a great spot by the bar, not too packed but a great atmosphere. They were doing a roaring trade on food too. So good, we are going back for the final.

I am on the committee for the WI so perhaps you could send me your e-mail by PM and I can put forward your suggestion at the next committee meeting later this month.

They said it was open from 10am until 10pm every day. I went this afternoon for lunch and a glass of champagne - it was lovely. Also the menu offers vegetarian and vegan options too. Service a bit slow but all the staff were really pleasant. Great upstairs section too. Definitely worth a visit.

Apparently the running of the cafe has been put out to tender. I know that Blue Mountain have applied but don't know whether they have it yet.

They are opening on 9th August.
