Loving the winter olympics?

Just have to say I am loving the winter olympics but what we need is an Eddy the Eagle or some other great british loser to make it really interesting! Maybe we will grab the curling by the scruff of the neck who knows?

haha yeah maybe watching the downhill paint drying has got some milage.though saying that the snowboarding is quite exciting,Gotta love a good crash out!

Loving the winter Olympics, and getting strangely engrossed in the curling. It can be quite exciting as the stone goes down. Maybe that's an indication of my life, who cares.

Loving the snowboarding too, just love it all, except the cross-country, biathlon and nordic combined boring or what!! Hours watching people drag themselves across the snow, please, and you say curling is boring??

The snowboard cross is great fun to watch though - utterly nuts. As is the moguls and freestyle skiing.

Curling - I played it while at school and Uni (I even beat one of the Olympic gold-medal winning team on occasion) and while I loved playing it, it's not the greatest spectator sport.

snowboarding cross and the moguls have been my favourite so far, waiting for the half pipe, always good for a tumble or two.

The moguls were good, that must beat the knees up though, it looks very painful. Bring on the super G. seems funny that they had too much snow to ski on and had to cancel the downhill etc for three days!

Some of the iceskating has been beautiful and very artistic.

Certainly the snowboarding stuff has been exciting too!

womens downhill last night was pretty good, some spectular crashes and a french girl who fell over about 5 ft out from the gate.

Jealousy on the helmet front I think, a case of 'I can't believe Britain will beat us'. Typical attitude when something new happens, rattles everyone cages. Happens at least once in every Olympics.

But yes, well done to Amy, wish I had stayed up to watch it now.
